Willian<\/a> will be out of contract at Chelsea<\/a> in the summer. Teams are growing interested to pick up the winger on a free contract in the summer, but Barca<\/a> are looking to steal the Brazilian international during this window.<\/p>\n

Barcelona have been eyeing Willian for quite some time now, even launching bids all the way back in 2018. The bids peaked at \u00a355m, but were all rejected by Chelsea.<\/p>\n

The Time has Come<\/h3>\n

Chelsea have been trying to get the winger to sign a new contract, but with little time left in the window, it looks like he will leave in the summer for free. If Chelsea want to get any money out of the deal, they might have to let him go this winter.<\/p>\n

Willian has played 30 times out of a possible 51 in all competitions for Chelsea this season, contributing five goals and five assists. These numbers are similar to those of last season, but overall have declined compared to his youthful years.<\/p>\n

Chelsea have been surprisingly inactive this window after their transfer ban was lifted. There was a lot of speculation of the stars they would sign to bolster their inconsistent side, but nothing has been done. It seems that Frank Lampard<\/a> is putting his trust in his young side and will focus on future development. If this is so, it is time to cycle in a fresh Chelsea side, saying goodbye to their old stars, and bringing in space to give youngsters more experience. This process might start with Willian in the coming days.<\/p>\n

Willian has spent quite some time with Chelsea and has helped them to silverware. Honors won during his time at the club include two Premier League<\/a> titles, a Europa League<\/a>, an FA Cup<\/a> and a Carabao Cup<\/a>.<\/p>\n

Willian will be greatly missed at Stamford Bridge, but it might be time for him to go. If Chelsea want to get any money for their winger, he might have to leave this window.<\/p>\n
