Brighton & Hove Albion<\/a> have completed the permanent signing of Aaron Mooy<\/a> from Huddersfield Town<\/a> on a permanent deal, following the midfielder’s loan spell during the first half of the season.<\/p>\n

Excellent First Half Of The Season<\/h3>\n

Mooy’s impressive performances during the first half of the season is what has earned him a permanent move from Huddersfield.<\/p>\n

The 29-year-old has two goals and one assist to his name from 18 appearances but has been a detrimental player in the middle of the park for Graham Potter’s side.<\/p>\n

The highlight for the Australian international during his loan spell was a match-winning performances against Bournemouth<\/a> during the Christmas period. His attacking presence saw him score the winning goal in a 2-0 win at the Amex Stadium.<\/p>\n

Mooy Delighted to Make Deal Permanent<\/h3>\n

Speaking about joining the Seagulls on a permanent basis, Mooy said to the official Brighton website<\/a>: “I\u2019m delighted, I\u2019ve been really enjoying my time with the club so far and my family are settled too, which is very important for me.<\/p>\n

\u201cHopefully it can continue, and I can keep helping the team. You never know what to expect\u00a0in football,\u00a0but I spoke to Maty Ryan a few times before I joined, and he told me good things.<\/p>\n

\u201cWe have always been good friends and he was right with what he told me. I\u2019m enjoying the training ground, the stadium, the fans, the city and everything else.<\/p>\n

\u201cIt\u2019s been great and hopefully I can keep enjoying it. At the moment the fans seem to like me too,\u00a0so\u00a0that\u2019s nice.\u201d<\/p>\n

Meanwhile, manager Graham Potter said<\/a>: “We are delighted to have agreed a permanent deal with Aaron and Huddersfield. He\u2019s been an important player for us and will have a key part to play going forward.”<\/p>\n

\u201cWe knew what Aaron would bring, and he\u2019s proved to be an excellent addition to our squad and a great professional both on and off the pitch.\u201d<\/p>\n
