having enquired<\/a> about the defender’s availability.<\/p>\nHowever, Forest boss Sabri Lamouchi has suggested there is minimal chance of the defender moving from the City Ground.<\/p>\n
Speaking after his side’s 1-1 draw with Reading on Wednesday, Lamouchi said: “No way, no way. Don\u2019t talk about the players going out.<\/p>\n
“We are talking about the player who can come in. We are doing well. I am very close with players because we need to focus on the pitch together. This is the most important thing.<\/p>\n
“They are doing well, Cashy also.”<\/p>\n
Lamouchi added: “He is improving but he needs to learn, to walk in his position. In this position, he has a good future.”<\/p>\n
Forest are keen to bring another striker to the City Ground despite signing Adam Diakhaby on-loan from Huddersfield Town.<\/p>\n
However, Lamouchi admitted any new signings may not arrive until after next week’s trip to Brentford.<\/p>\n
He said: “I don\u2019t have news.<\/p>\n
\u201cFor me, I think it could be on the last day of the window.<\/p>\n
\u201cWe have played a lot of games without new players.<\/p>\n
\u201cWe played tonight without new player.<\/p>\n
\u201cWe will play next week [against Brentford], probably, without any new players.\u201d<\/p>\n
Forest missed the opportunity to move within two points of second-placed Leeds United by drawing with Reading.<\/p>\n
Lewis Grabban scored what the 27,840-strong City Ground crowd thought to be the winner with ten minutes left; Sam Baldock levelled the tie three minutes later.<\/p>\n
