Queens Park Rangers<\/a> have made their first January signing. The R\u2019s have signed winger Jack Clarke on loan from Tottenham Hotspur<\/a> for the rest of the season.<\/p>\n

QPR announced via their website<\/a> they had signed the winger. Clarke arrives on loan for the rest of the season having spent the first half of the season at Leeds United.<\/p>\n

Clarke has struggled for game time at Leeds this season. Spurs recalled him and now the winger will hope to get some much-needed game time at promotion hunters QPR.<\/p>\n

Clarke arrives as QPR\u2019s first January signing and he could make his debut this weekend against his former club Leeds in Saturday\u2019s lunchtime game.<\/p>\n

What Was Said<\/h2>\n

Speaking to the QPR website about his move, Clarke said<\/a>: \u201cI am delighted and looking forward to getting started. Hopefully, I can kick on and help the team.<\/p>\n

\u201cI like to create chances, take people on, I\u2019m very direct with the ball and love running with it.<\/p>\n

\u201cI spoke to Mark a fair few times. He was one of the main factors in coming here \u2013 in terms of how he wants to play football and how he sees him fitting in.<\/p>\n

\u201cI am just excited to get going and to kick-start things with my new team.<\/p>\n

QPR manager Mark Warburton added<\/a>: \u201cI\u2019m really pleased to get Jack in \u2013 he is a talented, young, hungry player with lots of energy and there\u2019s no doubts about his quality.<\/p>\n

\u201cI am looking forward to working with him.<\/p>\n

\u201cRight now, we have Ilias Chair, Bright Osayi-Samuel and Ebere Eze doing exceptionally well for us but injuries, suspensions, form you need to have options.<\/p>\n

\u201cJack provides that. He can play on the left, on the right or in the centre so we are delighted to have him.<\/p>\n

\u201cHopefully the fans will see what quality he has.”<\/p>\n
