The January transfer window has only been open for a matter of days, but movements are already rife at Oxford United.<\/p>\n
The U’s have already lost two players with the club deciding not to extend winger Oussama Zamouri’s<\/a> contract; meanwhile, right-back Chris Cadden<\/a> has been recalled early from his season-long loan spell by Columbus Crew.<\/p>\n Losing Cadden is certainly a blow for the U’s.<\/p>\n The 23-year-old had featured 22 times this season and provided five assists as the club propelled themselves to fourth in League One; the third round of the FA Cup and the last eight of the Carabao Cup.<\/p>\n U’s boss Karl Robinson has already highlighted that academy graduate Sam Long will be a likely replacement; he has, though, admitted he wants to bring in another player as competition for the 24-year-old.<\/p>\n One of those players, as reported by Scott MacArthur of The Scottish Sun<\/a>, is Kilmarnock star, Stephen O’Donnell.<\/p>\n The 27-year-old, who has played 23 games in all competitions, is out of contract in the summer but reports suggest that the U’s boss will be prepared to wait for a pre-contract deal if a fee can\u2019t be agreed to seal the move this month.<\/p>\n Another player to depart the League One side is Zamouri. Unlike Cadden, the 23-year-old, who joined the club on deadline day, made just one appearance for the U\u2019s in the Football League Trophy match against Crawley Town.<\/p>\n But Robinson is exploring the possibility of bringing in another winger and, as reported by ExWHUemployee<\/a>, West Ham United winger Nathan Holland could be the one.<\/p>\n The 21-year-old has been in fine form in the Premier League 2, leading the assist charts with seven and scoring eleven goals from just twelve games. He also featured against the U’s when Robinson’s side dumped the Hammers out of the Carabao Cup.<\/a><\/p>\n So far, two players have left but given the U’s impressive campaign, it’s likely other players will be targeted. One of those is midfielder Alex Rodriguez Gorrin.<\/p>\n The 26-year-old Spaniard has been linked with a move to Championship outfit Blackburn Rovers, according to Pete O’Rourke at Football Insider.<\/a><\/p>\n The former Motherwell man has been a key part of the U’s squad this season, providing cover in front of a solid back four but also allowing the clubs create midfielders to push forward and create chances.<\/p>\n Losing Gorrin would be a huge blow, but at this moment in time, no move away from the Kassam Stadium is concrete.<\/p>\n Main Photo<\/p>\nWho Else Could Leave?<\/h3>\n
