In January 2018, Manchester City<\/a> starlet Brahim D\u00edaz<\/a> joined Spanish giants Real Madrid<\/a> for \u20ac17 million. The Premier League title contenders even inserted a sell-on clause in his contract.<\/p>\n

He left the champions in search of more game time. That could not be any further from the truth. D\u00edaz has only played 15 games in the 18 months he’s been at Real. Consequently, he may just have to look for a new club to make sure his career can flourish.<\/p>\n

Brahim D\u00edaz to Leave Real Madrid in January?<\/h2>\n

Returning to Spain seemed like a dream come true for D\u00edaz. More game time in a beautiful capital such as Madrid? Many players can only imagine the spectacle it must be to ply their trade at the Santiago Bernabeu.<\/p>\n

However, after playing only 40 minutes of first-team football this term, the little Spaniard must leave to get experience on the pitch.<\/p>\n

Real Madrid manager Zinedine Zidane values the winger highly, though, so he might only allow D\u00edaz to leave on loan in the winter. If he were to push for a permanent move away, he needs to make his choice wisely, or else it could end up the same as it is now at a different club.<\/p>\n

What Club Would Be Best for Him?<\/h3>\n

D\u00edaz would likely prefer to be in Spain for a lot of his career, considering it is his home country. However, after the experience with Manchester City, a return to the Premier League may be on the cards in the future.<\/p>\n

It is only early days, though, so it isn’t necessary to ponder upon a move that would only happen in a few years. What are his best options now?<\/p>\n

His hometown of Malaga would be a good move. Currently competing in the Segunda Division, the second tier of Spain, Malaga would certainly welcome the likes of Brahim D\u00edaz. He might prefer to stay in the top tier, though. Moves to the likes of Celta Vigo, Real Betis, or Espanyol would prove beneficial to D\u00edaz’s career. Low-table sides would give him much game time in the top flight, and he could even steer some clubs to survival in La Liga.<\/p>\n

This could either be a loan or permanent. Plus, who knows where he could go? Spain, Italy, England? Many players have even flourished in the Bundesliga.<\/p>\n

Wherever D\u00edaz goes, however, he must get more game time than he has at Real Madrid.<\/p>\n
