“I’ve seen a massive difference in Curtis in the last year,” he said.<\/p>\n
“He’s always had that ability but seems a bit more mature now; he’s defending well, getting his angles right when he’s defending.”<\/p>\n
“I think he’s realised as well that if you want to play for Liverpool, that’s as important as the stuff on the ball.” he added.<\/p>\n
“Not only that, he’s got so much ability and skills and tricks, and it’s about using them in the right area.”<\/p>\n
Jones has displayed all the qualities of being an impressive midfielder.<\/p>\n
The tall 18-year-old provides a physical presence on the ball and has shown maturity and a high level of in-game intelligence.<\/p>\n
Jones impressed against MK Dons in the Carabao Cup; he scored the winner in the fourth-round penalty shootout against Arsenal.<\/p>\n
Teenage talent Jones has scored 13 goals in 18 appearances for the Liverpool reserves.<\/p>\n
