Erling Haaland<\/a> has lit up both the Austrian Bundesliga<\/a> and the Champions League<\/a> this season, earning him interest from some of Europe\u2019s biggest clubs, one of these being Manchester United<\/a>.<\/p>\n

The Likelihood or Erling Haaland Joining Manchester United<\/h2>\n

Why Manchester United?<\/h3>\n

Aside from their history and size, United\u2018s biggest attraction for the young Norwegian is a personal connection. Manager Ole Gunnar Solskjaer<\/a> used to manage Haaland at Norwegian side Molde<\/a>, and so developed a close bond with the young superstar. Solskjaer also knows Haaland\u2019s father, Alfe-Inge Haaland<\/a>, from their playing days. Apparently, Solskjaer recently flew out to Austria<\/a> to meet with Haaland Senior, making a transfer to Manchester all the more probable.<\/p>\n

Leaks<\/h3>\n

Haaland\u2019s transfer to the Red Devils is heavily rumoured, with leaks coming in left, right and centre. Sources such as Matt Porter from Mail Online<\/a> have been claiming that Haaland has said he wants to go to Manchester United for months. Furthermore, Solskjaer stated that<\/a> Haaland has decided where he wants to go, giving more evidence that he will join United.<\/p>\n

Erling Haaland to Manchester United Confirmed?<\/h3>\n

A picture was leaked<\/a> earlier today on Instagram of Haaland signing a Manchester United shirt. This image went viral among United fan pages, many believing it was an official image confirming his transfer. An hour after the photo leaked, Haaland posted<\/a> many images of himself signing shirts on his Instagram story. This barely helped him, however, as the image of him signing a United shirt was different to the rest. In this one, he was with two, officially dressed people. In the others, he was with one person, in a different place, wearing different clothes. Surely, this is confirmation of his transfer to the Manchester side.<\/p>\n

Is His Move to Manchester Done Yet?<\/h3>\n

Although his move to the north of England is not yet confirmed, the evidence for it stacks up. The astounding number of leaks regarding this transfer make it unavoidable. Manchester United seems to be the most likely destination for Erling Haaland. Whether it happens in January, or over the summer, the evidence is overwhelmingly in favour of this move.<\/p>\n
