It’s been a turbulent 12 hours for Carlo Ancelotti. The veteran Italian was sacked by Napoli last night despite guiding them to a comfortable win against Genk. Despite that surprise sacking, Ancelotti could well be back in the dugout soon with Everton<\/a> opening talks with Ancelotti\u2019s representatives.<\/p>\n

Carlo Ancelotti will be a man in demand following his dismissal last night. According to Matt Law, Sam Wallace and Jason Burt of The Telegraph<\/a>, Ancelotti has moved to the top of Everton\u2019s list to replace Marco Silva. Sky Sports<\/a> have gone further and said that Ancelotti will begin talks with Everton later today. The Italian is a serial winner and no stranger to the English game having managed Chelsea<\/a> in his glittering managerial career.<\/p>\n

Everton are hunting for a new boss after Marco Silva was sacked<\/a> last week. Their original top choice, Vitor Periera, ruled himself out<\/a> of the running. The Toffees have now turned their attention to Ancelotti. However, former manager David Moyes is back in the running, according to The Times’<\/a> Matt Lawton and Paul Joyce.<\/p>\n

Matt Law notes Ancelotti would be open to returning to England. However, due to Ancelotti\u2019s availability, Everton may face competition for the Italian from Arsenal<\/a>. He also adds that Ancelotti may want to gauge Arsenal\u2019s interest before accepting the Everton job should talks be successful.<\/p>\n

Meanwhile, Tom Kershaw of The Independent<\/a> notes West Ham United<\/a> are interested in Ancelotti. Manuel Pellegrini is under severe pressure<\/a> with the Hammers in dreadful form. Discussions have taken place about his future after the Hammers slumped to 16th, just one point above the relegation zone. One win in 11 Premier League games has the West Ham hierarchy concerned about a relegation fight.<\/p>\n

Ancelotti is a Man in Demand<\/h3>\n

Carlo Ancelotti is certainly a man in demand. The Italian has been successful everywhere he has been but a disappointing first half of the season in Serie A has ultimately cost him his job.<\/p>\n

Everton or Arsenal is Ancelotti\u2019s most likely route back into the game. The two clubs will no doubt battle for his services.<\/p>\n
