Transfer Rumours: Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang<\/a>, Paul Pogba, Alfredo Morelos<\/a> and More<\/h2>\n

Spanish Behemoths Battle for Gunners Striker, Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang<\/h3>\n

According to Alex Milne of the Mirror<\/a>, Barcelona<\/a> and Real Madrid could battle it out for the signature of Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang. The Gabonese star striker’s contract runs out in 2021, and thus Arsenal<\/a> could lose their man for a cutprice deal. He scored 31 goals for the Gunners last season; he is very much the star man at the Emirates. But, he is unlikely to want to stay should Arsenal fail to qualify for the Champions League<\/a>. Already eight points off the top four, this would not be out of the realms of possibility. But which of the Spanish giants would be more appealling? If Paul Brown of the Star<\/a> is correct, Barcelona are leading the race to sign him now, but all could change come the next transfer window.<\/p>\n

Zidane Desperate For Pogba<\/h3>\n

Paul Pogba has long been linked with an exit from Old Trafford; he has never consistently impressed for Manchester United<\/a>. Now, Dan Gibbs of the Mirror<\/a> writes that Zinedine Zidane<\/a> is desperate to sign the French World Cup winner. He has even rejected two transfer proposals in favour of chasing the midfielder; while Florentino P\u00e9rez offered the chance to sign Christian Eriksen<\/a> or Fabian Ruiz, Zidane was ‘adamant’ that Pogba should be number one priority. Eriksen would be the easier option, out of contract this summer, but Zidane continues to push for his compatriot.<\/p>\n

Tottenham on Lookout for New Goalkeeper<\/h3>\n

Billy Hawkins of Talksport<\/a> writes that Tottenham Hotspur are eyeing up a new goalkeeper; the North London side have identified Alexander Nubel<\/a> of Schalke as their target, a player likened to Manuel Neuer<\/a>. Schalke sit fifth in the Bundesliga and Nubel many have praised Nubel for his performances between the sticks. Though, with less than 12 months remaining on his contract, his future remains uncertain in Germany. Tottenham are seeking to take advantage of this and find a long-term replacement for Hugo Lloris<\/a> who has looked shaky this season.<\/p>\n

Rangers Resolved to Keeping Morelos<\/h3>\n

Rangers have issued a hands-off warning to Leicester City<\/a> over striker Alfredo Morelos, according to Chisanga Malata of Express<\/a>. Morelos has been pivotal for the Scottish side this season, scoring 22 goals in 26 games as they hunt down rivals Celtic. The performances of the 23-year-old over the last two years have the caught the eye of the Premier League side among others. However, it seems it would take an astronomical fee to even tempt Rangers into selling. Though, if Leicester do qualify for Champions League football this season, they could have their golden selling point.<\/p>\n
