Fantasy Premier League Gameweek 13 marks the end of an eventful international break. Gameweeks after international breaks are always more appreciated. The return to management of the ‘Special One’<\/a> makes this gameweek even more interesting.<\/p>\n

Fantasy Premier League Gameweek 13 Picks<\/h2>\n

Goalkeepers<\/h3>\n

Picking the right goalkeeper is a difficult task in most weeks. This week, that seems even trickier. A case could be made for Bernd Leno<\/a>, however, you should remember the brittle defence infront of him that has made the German shot-stopper the goalkeeper with the most saves in the Premier League this season. Southampton<\/a> will likely lose at the Emirates due to their dire form, but such a leaky Gunners defence is likely to concede at least once.<\/p>\n

For those looking for a left-field punt, Sheffield United’s<\/a> Simon Moore could prove to be an intriguing option. He will likely start for this week only as Dean Henderson<\/a> is ineligible to face his parent club, Manchester United<\/a>. However, if Sheffield United can win with a clean sheet, nine points could come your way.<\/p>\n

Defenders<\/h3>\n

Trent Alexander-Arnold<\/a>‘s attacking prowess could come into the fore at Selhurst Park this weekend when Liverpool<\/a> face Crystal Palace<\/a>. Liverpool’s inability to keep clean sheets<\/a> this season, though, could be an issue.<\/p>\n

John Lundstram<\/a> is probably in everyone’s team by now but this week he should be given the start. Sheffield United have every chance of springing a surprise against Manchester United.<\/p>\n

H\u00e9ctor Beller\u00edn<\/a> completed 90 minutes for the first time this season last week. He has a great chance to do well this week. In full flow, the Spaniard is one of the best attacking right-backs in the Premier League<\/p>\n

Midfielders<\/h3>\n

Kevin De Bruyne<\/a> is a really strong contender for the armband this week. Against his old side, Chelsea<\/a>, the Belgian will be looking to make an impact. He is in great form as well, scoring a couple of goals and also bagging an assist for Belgium against Cyprus<\/a> on Tuesday night. One thing to keep in mind, though, is that De Bruyne has only scored once against Chelsea<\/a> in nine matches against them.<\/p>\n

Raheem Sterling<\/a> is another great pick this week. Chelsea<\/a> under Frank Lampard<\/a> have been really offensive and that approach will likely see them concede a few goals against the champions. Sterling’s form in front of goal<\/a> at the moment could be a problem for the Blues.<\/p>\n

Sadio Man\u00e9<\/a> has a dicey looking away fixture at Crystal Palace this week. Fixtures have not had an impact on the Senegalese this season though as he has amassed a tally of seven goals and four assists<\/a>.<\/p>\n

Leicester City<\/a> assets should provide solid points this week as well. By now, most FPL managers probably have at least one of their midfielders. James Maddison <\/a>and Youri Tielemans<\/a> have proved to be steady sources of FPL points this season.<\/p>\n

John McGinn<\/a>, Heung-Min Son and Nicolas P\u00e9p\u00e9<\/a> could also have good games this week.<\/p>\n

Strikers<\/h3>\n

Jamie Vardy<\/a> is having an absolutely unbelievable season. He has already scored 11 goals<\/a> and will look to add to his tally this week. If you don’t have him, you really should bring him in.<\/p>\n

Sergio Aguero<\/a> scored a hat-trick last time Chelsea visited<\/a> the Etihad stadium. If he starts, he should do well.<\/p>\n

Despite having one of the toughest fixtures of the season, a goal from Tammy Abraham\u00a0<\/a>is not out of the question.<\/p>\n

Even though Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang<\/a> has only scored once in his last five matches in the Premier League, one cannot ignore him at home to the side that shipped nine goals against Leicester<\/a> just a few weeks ago. Alexandre Lacazette<\/a> is also worth considering.<\/p>\n
