The Championship’s in-form sides meet when Hull City host West Bromwich Albion<\/a> at the KCOM Stadium on Saturday afternoon. The Tigers produced their best performance of the season in a 3-0 win at Fulham<\/a> last time out and are looking to extend their winning run in the league to four games.<\/p>\n

Hull Out of Position\u00a0<\/span><\/h3>\n

Hull City are doing their best to dispel the adage that the league table never lies. They\u2019re currently sitting in 11th place, eight points behind league leaders and Saturday’s opponents West Brom. However, they come into this fixture as one of the division’s in-form sides, second only to the Baggies.<\/p>\n

West Brom lead the form standings having amassed 17 points from their last eight games. Their five victories and one solitary defeat in that period has seen them rise to the top of the table. They have been the most consistent side in the division, proving themselves to be very difficult to beat.<\/p>\n

Despite managing just one win in their first seven games, Hull have found their feet and are making a bolt for the playoff places. They closely trail West Brom in the form standings having collected 16 points from the last eight games with five victories also, but two defeats.<\/p>\n

Bili\u0107\u2019s Backup\u00a0<\/span><\/h3>\n

A key component of West Brom this season has been their substitutes bench. Slaven Bili\u0107 seemingly builds a 14-man line-up for each game with each player coming from the bench prepared to make an impact on the game.<\/p>\n

The most prominent example of the new attitude ingrained into his squad players is the upturn in form of Hal Robson-Kanu. The Welshman has somewhat struggled to maintain any consistent form during his time at the Midlands club.<\/p>\n

Spread across games against Middlesbrough, Barnsley, Charlton Athletic and Stoke City<\/a>, he has played just 94 minutes. But three goals in those four games from the bench sees a rejuvenated Robson-Kanu finally relishing his role as an impact sub.<\/p>\n

Different Approach in Attack<\/h3>\n

These two sides have built squads that approach the art of getting goals In very different ways. Jarrod Bowen has scored nine Championship goals so far this season, including five goals in the Tigers\u2019 last four games. Hull are brimming with confidence and Bowen epitomises that, he is their talisman, keeping him quiet will be key for the Baggies.<\/p>\n

West Brom are joint-top scorers in the Championship along with Preston North End, netting 28 goals in their opening 15 games. They don\u2019t have that prolific talisman rather spreading the duty of scoring across their entire squad, especially the midfield. Albion\u2019s main goal threat comes from Grady Diangana, Matheus Pereira and Matt Phillips.<\/p>\n
