In today’s transfer rumours the race to sign Erling Braut H\u00e5land<\/a> is starting to heat up.\u00a0 The Italian newspaper Tuttosport<\/a> is reporting that his current club Red Bull Salzburg has slapped a \u20ac100 million price tag on the Norweigan striker.\u00a0 But that won’t stop any of the big clubs from getting involved.<\/p>\n

Transfer Rumours: Erling Haaland<\/h2>\n

It’s really no surprise to see plenty of big clubs interested in Erling Haaland.\u00a0 The 19-year-old has started this season absolutely on fire. He’s already got 18 goals in all competitions this season, 12 in the Austrian Bundesliga, and six in three Champions League games.\u00a0 H\u00e5land has had the type of start to his season that will have all of the big clubs salivating.<\/p>\n

But it’s not just the goal-scoring that has brought H\u00e5land so much attention.\u00a0 The 6’4″ Norwegian striker is the son of former Norwegian international and Manchester City defender Alf-Ingle H\u00e5land.\u00a0 And when the son of a former Premier League pro scores NINE goals in a U-20 World Cup game<\/a>, it’s bound to be noticed.<\/p>\n

His size and style of play have led to the obvious comparisons with Zlatan Ibrahimovic<\/a> and Marco Van Basten.\u00a0 Neither of them moved as smoothly as H\u00e5land does across the pitch.\u00a0 Nor did they have the goalscoring record in their early Ajax days.\u00a0 \u00a0Another reason why H\u00e5land has garnered so many transfer rumours.<\/p>\n

The specific report in Tuttosport states that Manchester United<\/a>, Juventus<\/a>, and Real Madrid<\/a> are all very interested in the young Norwegian.\u00a0 However, those are only three of the many clubs interested in H\u00e5land.\u00a0 A Google News<\/a> search of his name can find links to Manchester City<\/a>, Barcelona<\/a>, Borussia Dortmund, Bayern Munich<\/a> and others.<\/p>\n

H\u00e5land will have another opportunity to show off for the big clubs in his Champions League trip to Napoli this week.\u00a0 The Norwegian is likely to start as he will be looking to add to his UCL leading goal tally.\u00a0 While Salzburg will need a win in Naples to keep their hopes of a knockout stage place alive.<\/p>\n
