Bale almost made a move to China in the last window, and once more that looks to be the most likely of destinations for the 30-year-old. The report by Spanish outlet Marca suggests that it is Shanghai Shenua who are leading the chase for Bale, after he came close to joining them during the summer.<\/p>\n

The Welshman has made just seven appearances for the Spanish giants so far this season, finding the back of the net twice.<\/p>\n

Manchester United Turning to Ligue 1 for Transfer Targets<\/h3>\n

Julien Laurens of ESPN<\/a> writes that Manchester United<\/a> are chasing deals for Ligue 1 pair Boubakary Soumare<\/a> and Moussa Dembele<\/a>.<\/p>\n

Soumare is a product of high-flying Lille’s academy. Since making his debut during the 2017\/18 season, the 20-year-old has gone on to make 52 appearances for the French side.<\/p>\n

Manchester United will be hoping that Soumare does not agree a new contract with Lille before January. The midfielder’s deal is expiring at the end of the season. As a result, it means that United will be able to agree pre-contract terms should he not secure terms with Lille.<\/p>\n

Meanwhile, Ole Gunnar Solskjaer is also looking at former Celtic striker Moussa Dembele. The Frenchman made the move to Ligue 1 in 2018, joining Lyon. Last season saw him score 20 goals in all competitions, equalling his best-ever season. A move for the 23-year-old would certainly boost United’s attacking options.<\/p>\n

Roma Standing Firm on Transfer Targets<\/h3>\n

Meanwhile, James Cooper of Sky Sports<\/a> is reporting that Chris Smalling<\/a> will not be moving to Roma permanently and instead will return to Manchester United when his loan expires.<\/p>\n

Smalling has impressed so far during his loan in Italy. He has made six appearances so far this season, helping the Italian side to fifth in Serie A.<\/p>\n

Manchester City Lining Up Leroy Sane Replacement<\/h3>\n

Sky Sources in Germany<\/a> are reporting that Bayern Munich<\/a> are set to continue their pursuit of Manchester City<\/a> winger Leroy Sane<\/a>.<\/p>\n

As a result, Pep Guardiola is now looking at replacements for the German, with Spanish winger Mikel Oyarzabal<\/a> being lined-up. The 22-year-old currently plays for Real Sociedad. In each of his last two seasons, he has scored 14 goals, with four goals so far this season.<\/p>\n
