Arsenal<\/a> could choose to recall Eddie Nketiah from Leeds United if he continues to miss out.<\/p>\n

Eddie Nketiah Could Face Arsenal Return<\/h2>\n

Three goals in pre-season made the striker a key asset for Arsenal as numerous sides sought his signature.<\/p>\n

The 20-year-old forward was dispatched down a level to gain first-team experience; however, Bielsa believes the striker needs to round off his overall game.<\/p>\n

Limited Opportunities<\/h3>\n

The Premier League side may choose to recall Nketiah if he continues to face limited chances under Marcelo Bielsa at Elland Road.<\/p>\n

Nketiah, 20, is yet to be given his first league start by Bielsa despite scoring at a rate of a goal every 86 minutes.<\/p>\n

The on-loan striker’s strike-rate outweighs the record of Patrick Bamford’s four goals from 14 appearances; however, Bamford remains Bielsa’s preferred talisman.<\/p>\n

According to The Athletic (via The Sun<\/a>), Arsenal have an option to recall Nketiah if performance clauses are not met.<\/p>\n

Both sides share the sense that Nketiah will make the expected progress; however, the threat of a return to the Emirates remains apparent for the on-loan forward.<\/p>\n

His finishing is by far his most talented skill, followed closely by his ability to work well under pressure.<\/p>\n

All three of his Leeds goals have come in the final ten minutes of tight games, single-handedly winning the Whites five points.<\/p>\n

Former Arsenal midfielder Ray Parlour recently praised Nketiah, claiming his form warrants a starting spot.<\/p>\n

Speaking to the Metro<\/a>, he said: “I don\u2019t know [why he isn\u2019t starting]. I\u2019m reading the story today: \u2018Eddie\u2019s Ready\u2019 \u2013 and I think he is.<\/p>\n

“He deserves a chance; every time he\u2019s come off the bench he\u2019s made a difference.<\/p>\n

“I think Bamford is a guy who holds the ball up a bit better, whereas Eddie Nketiah is one who runs in behind.”<\/p>\n

Arsenal will hope Nketiah is given his first start by Bielsa as United host QPR at Elland Road on Saturday.<\/p>\n
