Burton enter the fixture high on confidence having lost on just three occasions from their previous 15 matches in all competitions.<\/p>\n

Although, Brendan Rodgers’ Foxes will also arrive at the Pirelli bouncing with high morale following a devastating 9-0 victory at Southampton on Friday evening – a result which matched the highest-ever margin of victory in the Premier League.<\/p>\n

The free-scoring Foxes have now found the net 21 times in their most recent five outings across all competitions.<\/p>\n

The two sides are separated by 53 places in the football pyramid; however, the Brewers navigated past Premier League outfit Bournemouth<\/a> in the previous round.<\/p>\n

Clever finishes from Nathan Broadhead and Oliver Sarkic – his first goal since signing from Leeds United in the summer – ensured the Brewers were worthy winners.<\/p>\n

Burton will, however, be wary of the last time they faced a top-six Premier League side in the EFL Cup.<\/p>\n

Leicester City have no fresh injury concerns ahead of their trip to Staffordshire.<\/p>\n

This could lead to Rodgers opting to make changes to his squad in order to freshen his players up; however, even so, the quality difference should be one-step too great for Clough’s Burton Albion to record a scalp.<\/p>\n
