Giovani Lo Celso<\/a> is the latest addition<\/a> to injury-prone Tottenham Hotspur\u2019s<\/a> list. Whilst the full extent of the injury is not fully known, early signs suggest the midfielder, injured on International duty with Argentina could be out until the end of October.<\/p>\n

Giovani Lo Celso<\/a> Injury Blow but Victor<\/a> Wanyama Could Bolster Spurs<\/h1>\n

Giovani Lo Celso Out Until October<\/h3>\n

New signing Lo Celso has yet to make his first start for his new club and now he will be waiting even longer. It was against Chile that he picked up the hip injury. Chile were guilty of targeting the talented midfielder throughout the match. The fact that Spurs have already had Tanguy N\u2019Dombele<\/a> out injured has hardly helped the North London side start the season in full swing.<\/p>\n

Victor Wanyama to Return?<\/h3>\n

With N\u2019Dombele struggling to recover from his injury and now Lo Celso out as well, Mauricio Pochettino may well have to welcome Victor Wanyama<\/a> to the fold. Daniel Levy had wanted to sell Wanyama in the summer with a \u00a312 million move to Brugge all but sealed. Wanyama’s last-minute change of heart supposedly infuriated Levy.<\/p>\n

Wanyama was a fundamental apart of the 2017 Tottenham side alongside Moussa Dembele<\/a>. But, he has never recovered full fitness since a knee injury two seasons ago. Pochettino might just bring Wanyama back in from the cold for Saturday\u2019s visit of Crystal Palace.<\/p>\n

Injury Prone Tottenham in Need of a Cure<\/h3>\n

All players and clubs get injuries. It is the nature of the sport. Yet Tottenham seem to suffer more than most in the last two seasons. Since the start of last season, the list of injuries and repeat injuries must be some cause for concern at the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium; Harry Kane<\/a>, Dele Alli<\/a>, Christian Eriksen<\/a>, Toby Alderweireld<\/a>, Jan Vertonghen<\/a>, Moussa Sissoko<\/a>, Danny Rose<\/a>, Ben Davies<\/a>, Heung Son-Min, Harry Winks<\/a>, Tanguy N\u2019Dombele and now Lo Celso.<\/p>\n

The list is incredible to say the least. Either the players are unlucky in all cases or there is something wrong with the players training regime. To try and create consistency is a testament to the magic Pochettino has worked at Spurs. He has rarely in the past two seasons had a full-strength squad to pick from at any time.<\/p>\n

To have to bring in players that were not wanted in the summer hardly adds to a team that already looks like its unity is fragile at best.<\/p>\n
