Sky Bet League One side have bolstered their options in midfield with the signing of Callum O’Hare from Aston Villa<\/a>.<\/p>\n

Midlands Move For O’Hare<\/h2>\n

21-year-old O’Hare joins Coventry City on a loan deal until the end of the season.<\/p>\n

The Solihull-born attacking midfielder made his debut for Villa in August 2017. O’Hare made eight appearances for the Villans in the 2017-18 season and featured once in Villa’s promotion-winning campaign last term.<\/p>\n

O’Hare, an England Under 20 international, joined Carlisle on loan in January. He scored three goals during sixteen appearances.<\/p>\n

Speaking after signing the attacking midfielder, Sky Blues boss Mark Robins said<\/a>:\u00a0“We\u2019re pleased to welcome Callum to the Football Club.<\/p>\n

“He is a naturally talented footballer, with great creative ability and an eye for goal too.<\/p>\n

“He is at the stage of his development where it is important for him to get regular minutes in league football, and we look forward to working with him this season.”<\/p>\n

Reflecting on his time on loan with Carlisle, O’Hare said<\/a>: \u201cIt helped me massively going out on loan last season.<\/p>\n

\u201cPlaying in the Football League, it was a massive learning curve and was good experience so hopefully I can use that this year playing for Coventry.<\/p>\n

The Gaffer has said to me to just come in here and enjoy it and enjoy my football and that\u2019s what I want to do and hopefully I can do well.\u201d<\/p>\n

In regards to signing for Coventry City, he added: “I\u2019m buzzing to finally get the deal done and to get down here.<\/p>\n

I\u2019m looking forward to get going and I can\u2019t wait, I like the way they play here, and I think it\u2019s a good club.<\/p>\n

\u201cI want to get more experience and hopefully do something really good with the team.<\/p>\n

\u201cAs I said, I\u2019m feeling good, I\u2019m buzzing and I can\u2019t wait to get started.\u201d<\/p>\n
