European Transfer Rumours<\/h2>\n

Malcom Transfer Rumours<\/h3>\n

Just one year after his shock move from Bordeaux to Barcelona, Malcom will be leaving the Spanish champions. According to MARCA<\/a>, Barcelona have accepted a\u00a0\u20ac40 million-plus \u20ac5 million in add-ons bid from Zenit St. Petersburg.\u00a0 \u00a0If Malcom plays well in Zenit, Barcelona will be able to recoup a profit for the 22-year-old Brazilian, but that is not the story of this deal.<\/p>\n

Barcelona are trying to get a deal done for Real Betis’\u00a0Junior Firpo<\/a>.\u00a0 However, they do not have the necessary cash to complete the deal.\u00a0 The club would prefer to sell someone like Philippe Coutinho<\/a> or Ivan Rakitic,<\/a>\u00a0but no one has come forth with an offer suitable to even negotiate for either player.<\/p>\n

Sadly, Malcom’s time at Barca will now go down as a failure.\u00a0 The reality is that he was never given a chance to make a real impact in Ernesto Valverde’s side.\u00a0 Hopefully, he will remember the great goal he scored against Inter Milan at the San Siro in the Champions League; and the passionate celebration which followed.<\/p>\n

Inter Milan’s Striker Search<\/h3>\n

Antonio Conte never seems to be satisfied with his strikers.\u00a0 After famously falling out with Diego Costa<\/a> and failing to sign Romelu Lukaku<\/a> at Chelsea<\/a>, he has brought that messiness with him to Inter Milan.\u00a0 Conte has only been at Inter for a couple of months, but he has already made his mark.<\/p>\n

Conte and Inter CEO Beppe Marotta have spent the majority of the summer trying to sign a new striker.\u00a0 Having had bids for both Lukaku and Edin Dzeko<\/a> rejected this summer, Gazzetta Dello Sport is reporting<\/a> they have turned their attention to Edinson Cavani.<\/p>\n

Inter Milan still need to convince Cavani they are the right place for him.\u00a0 He will have to give up more than\u00a0\u20ac3 million in annual salary to complete the move, but Inter is hoping more guaranteed minutes will convince him.<\/p>\n
