Manchester City<\/a> defender Kyle Walker<\/a> has revealed that he would like to finish his career with Sheffield United<\/a>.<\/p>\n

29-year-old Walker is keen on ending his career with Sheffield United.<\/p>\n

The talented full-back has made 100 appearances in all competitions for City since making a \u00a345 million move from Tottenham<\/a>.<\/p>\n

However, the former Aston Villa<\/a> and QPR loanee is keen on finishing his career with his boyhood club.<\/p>\n

Walker began his career with Sheffield United; however, he made just a handful of appearances for the Blades before signing for Spurs in July 2009.<\/p>\n

While still a youngster at White Hart Lane, Walker found first-team chances limited and, therefore, opted for loan moves to QPR, Aston Villa and a return to Bramall Lane.<\/p>\n

Upon his return to his boyhood club, Walker made 28 appearances in all competitions and became a fan-favourite.<\/p>\n

As a result, the 29-year-old has declared that he is keen on ending his career at the club that fist put hope in him.<\/p>\n

“I know the manager there,” he said to Sky Sports. “I’m a big Sheffield United fan so I can not wait to get back.<\/p>\n

“I’ve said to the people that represent me that I would love to finish back at Sheffield United. That is where I started, they gave me a chance in football.<\/p>\n

“You never know, they may not want me, we could be in different stages of our career. You never know what is going to happen, but Chris [Wilder] if you want to take me I’ll come back soon.”<\/p>\n

Turning focus back on to his current situation, Walker admitted that Manchester City will have underachieved if they fail to win the Champions League during his time at the Etihad.<\/p>\n

Last season the Sky Blues won the Premier League, FA Cup and League Cup; however, Pep Guardiola’s side were knocked out of the Champions League by Tottenham in the quarter-finals.<\/p>\n

“We’re not getting any younger and I want to win the champions league before I finish my career,” he said to Sky Sports<\/a>.<\/p>\n

“I feel I’m at the right club to do that and if we don’t get as far as we should do, it feels like we’ve underachieved.”<\/p>\n
