Transfer Rumours – Manchester United<\/h3>\n

Duncan Castles of The Times<\/a> claims that Manchester United are showing interest in Lille winger Nicolas Pepe<\/a>.<\/p>\n

Last season Pepe played a starring role as Lille finished second in Ligue 1. The Ivorian scored 22 goals during the 2018\/19 campaign, finishing only behind Kylian Mbappe<\/a> as Ligue 1 top scorer.<\/p>\n

As a result, Pepe has been attracting interest from a number of clubs across Europe. However, Manchester United may have to sell striker Romelu Lukaku before bringing the Ivorian to Old Trafford.<\/p>\n

Liverpool Looking to Bolster Left-Back Options?<\/h3>\n

According to Neil Fissler of the Daily Express<\/a>, Liverpool<\/a> are looking to sign German left-back Philipp Max<\/a>.<\/p>\n

Manager Jurgen Klopp is looking for a back-up to Andy Robertson<\/a> following the departure of Alberto Moreno<\/a>. The Spaniard left at the expiration of his contract and has joined Spanish side Villarreal.<\/p>\n

Philipp Max has spent the last seasons with German side Augsburg. Last season he made 34 appearances in all competitions, scoring four times.<\/p>\n

Crystal Palace Targeting Several Options at Right-Back<\/h3>\n

The hunt continues for Crystal Palace as they search for a new right-back. Harry Howes of the Daily Star<\/a> claims that they have seen a bid rejected for Chelsea youngster Reece James<\/a>.<\/p>\n

The 19-year-old spent last season on loan at Championship side Wigan Athletic. He impressed, making 45 appearances as they avoided relegation from the Championship.<\/p>\n

However, according to France Football<\/a>, the Eagles are also in the hunt for Monaco right-back Djibril Sidibe<\/a>. The Frenchman is attracting interest from a number of clubs, including Palace’s Premier League rivals West Ham<\/a>.<\/p>\n
