For EFL fans today was the day to get the calendar out. The 2019\/20 EFL fixtures<\/a> were revealed and Leyton Orient fans can start to get excited.<\/p>\n

The O’s are back in the Football League for the first time in two years. Despite enduring a very tough period at the moment, optimism can still be rife in E10.<\/p>\n

2019\/20 EFL Fixtures: Leyton Orient<\/h1>\n

Looking at the O’s 2019\/20 EFL Fixtures<\/h2>\n

Crowned National League champions last season, Leyton Orient are preparing for their return to the Football League.<\/p>\n

The O’s begin their campaign at home against Cheltenham Town on August 3rd. The Gloucestershire side visit Brisbane Road in what will now be a highly anticipated date for the O’s faithful.<\/p>\n

Orient will also end the season at home, as they face Devon side Exeter City who will no doubt be strong contenders for promotion this season.<\/p>\n

Boxing Day sees Orient host Colchester United at home. The U’s will make the short trip to East London in what is always a highly competitive and atmospheric fixture.<\/p>\n

At the end of August, Ross Embleton’s side<\/a> will travel to fellow promoted side Salford City.<\/p>\n

Testing Early Fixtures For Leyton Orient<\/h2>\n

As cliche as it is, every fixture is tough in the EFL. However, looking at the opening two months for the O’s, it could prove to be a telling yet testing period for them.<\/p>\n

The likes of Mansfield Town, Swindon Town and Exeter City, who are tipped to be play-off contenders, will provide perhaps the toughest task for the O’s.<\/p>\n

However, by the same token an outfit such as Macclesfield Town who survived last season, can also prove to be a tricky fixture for Orient.<\/p>\n
