The draw for the Carabao Cup round one was made this evening, giving EFL fans the perfect way to cap off fixture release day<\/a>. All the teams from the EFL have been split into a northern section and a southern section for the first round of the competition to cut down on travelling and potentially provide some more local games for sides.<\/p>\n

Carabao Cup Round One<\/h1>\n

The standout tie from the northern section sees EFL debutants host Championship giants Leeds United in their first ever Carabao Cup fixture.<\/p>\n

Elsewhere, Huddersfield Town<\/a> will host League Two champions Lincoln City and League One side Sunderland<\/a> will travel to Accrington Stanley.<\/p>\n

In the southern section, there will be a huge game between AFC Wimbledon and MK Dons, who also face each other in the league this coming season. As well, new West Bromwich Albion boss Slaven Bilic will open his League Cup account with the club at home to Millwall.<\/p>\n
