You may have noticed exciting left-winger Everton, not to be mistaken with the Premier League club of the same name. Everton has been impressing for a while at Brazilian outfit Gr\u00eamio and for the country’s national team too.<\/p>\n
Some of Europe’s elite have expressed interest in the 23-year-old recently, including Manchester United<\/a> according to Manchester Evening News’<\/a> Paul Clarke. with his goal in the opening match of the Copa Am\u00e9rica on Friday only proving exactly why he is a wanted man. With plenty of skill and pace, this kid has what it takes to make it big in Europe.<\/p>\n Everton Sousa Soares, simply known as Everton, was born in March 1996 in the city of Maracana\u00fa. He joined two time Copa Libertadores winners Gr\u00eamio, based in Port Alegre, in 2012, initially on loan. Everton moved permanently a year later and managed to progress to the first squad in 2014, where he has been ever since.<\/p>\n The winger has developed well at Gr\u00eamio, scoring 27 goals and nine assists in 113 league appearances, with a number of those being from off the bench. A huge part of Everton’s game is confidence as he has the ability to wriggle past defenders consistently. At this moment, no club has made a concrete offer. It’s unlikely at this stage that a club will pay such a price.<\/p>\n Brazil are hosting the current Copa Am\u00e9rica competition. The tournament sees countries from South America (with a few exceptions) compete to become the champion of the continent, similar to the European Championships. Everton was picked as part of his country’s squad.
