During his time there, he made 93 appearances whilst contributing 15 goals and ten assists. He also picked up the club&#8217;s Player of the Year and Player&#8217;s Player of the Year in 2017.<\/p>\n<p>He started his career at Dorchester Town before being picked up by <a href=\"https:\/\/lwosonfootball.ms.lastwordonsports.com\/clubs\/brighton-hove-albion\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Brighton &amp; Hove Albion<\/a>. He then had loan spells at Chesterfield, AFC Wimbledon and Northampton Town before signing a permanent deal with Gillingham.<\/p>\n<p>Two years ensued with the Gills between 2014 and 2016 before joining up with Colchester.<\/p>\n<h2>The Announcement<\/h2>\n<p>As seems to be popular now, the Dons announced Dickenson using a video on Twitter. I\u2019ve heard lots of good things about the manager and I know a few of the boys as well.
