Newly-promoted Norwich City<\/a> will take on Leeds United to sign Wolfsburg youngster\u00a0Elvis Rexhbecaj<\/a>, according to Kevin Schwank from German newspaper Bild.<\/a><\/span><\/p>\n

German Youngster, English Prospects<\/h2>\n

The Wolfsburg midfielder has rose to fame abroad following a number of impressive performances this season.<\/p>\n

After an impressive campaign for the Wolves, it is reported<\/a> that both Leeds and Norwich are prepared to offer around \u00a37 million.<\/p>\n

Leeds missed out on automatic promotion<\/a> to the Premier League following a controversial draw with Aston Villa<\/a> on Sunday. The result was the culmination in a number of poor results during the Easter period for Marcelo Bielsa’s side.<\/p>\n

Norwich City sealed promotion to the Premier League with a 2-1 win<\/a> over Blackburn Rovers<\/a> on Saturday.<\/p>\n

As a result, Leeds will begin shortlisting targets regardless of which division they will be playing in next term.<\/p>\n

Both sides are willing to provide offers of \u00a37 million with Rexhbecaj’s contract due to expire next summer<\/a>.<\/p>\n

The 21-year-old arrived in Wolfsburg in 2010 and regularly impressed at youth level.\u00a0Rexhbecaj made his senior debut in January 2018.<\/p>\n

Since emerging into the first team last term, the talented youngster has cemented his place in\u00a0Bruno Labbadia’s team. Rexhbecaj made 22 appearances in the Bundesliga this term for\u00a0Die W\u00f6lfe.<\/p>\n

Versatility<\/h2>\n

Elvis Rexhbecaj’s versatility makes him a key target for the English duo. With the ability to play in central midfield or at left-back, the 21-year-old is set for a bright future which may also include representing the Kosovo national team.<\/p>\n

He is understood<\/a> to be keen to stay with Wolfsburg in order to impress incoming manager Oliver Glasner, but Leeds and Norwich are likely to fight for his signature regardless.<\/p>\n

The talented Bundesliga youngster\u00a0may be persuaded<\/a> to move to Norwich City due to being managed by German Daniel Farke. The Canaries also have a number of players with Bundesliga experience, including former Wolfsburg defender Timm Klose<\/a>.<\/p>\n
