Oxford United<\/a> have today announced that three of the clubs loanees have left<\/a> ahead of Saturday’s trip to Luton Town<\/a>.<\/p>\n

Jordan Graham<\/a>, Samir Carruthers<\/a> and Ahmed Kashi<\/a> will all return to their parent clubs as U’s manager, Karl Robinson, looks ahead to next season.<\/p>\n

Oxford United Send Back Three Loanees Before Final League One Match<\/h1>\n

Jordan Graham<\/a><\/h2>\n

Fan favourite Graham was an exciting prospect as he made a return to Oxford in January, having previously featured for the U’s in 2015.<\/p>\n

The 24-year-old only managed to net one goal in his 16 appearances, but his performances have pleased the fans and the manager alike as he returns to his parent club, Wolverhampton Wanderers<\/a>.<\/p>\n

Samir Carruthers<\/a><\/h2>\n

It’s not been the same story for Carruthers. The Sheffield United<\/a> loanee has struggled with injuries this campaign, limiting him to just ten league appearances.<\/p>\n

The 22-year-old, who joined Oxford in the summer<\/a>, suffered with injury in the U’s opening day defeat at Barnsley. Since then, he has struggled to feature on a regular basis.<\/p>\n

Ahmed Kashi<\/a><\/h2>\n

Like Graham, Ahmed Kashi also arrived at the Kassam in January<\/a> and he has helped the U’s steer away from the drop.<\/p>\n

The 30-year-old, who had previously worked under Robinson at Charlton Athletic<\/a>, featured 11 times in League One but suspension has ended his loan early after his dismissal<\/a> at Shrewsbury Town<\/a> on Easter Monday.<\/p>\n

The holding midfielder’s introduction to the squad has given the freedom for the likes of Cameron Brannagan<\/a> to push forward and create more goalscoring opportunities, an area of the field Oxford struggled with in the first half of the season.<\/p>\n

Manager Karl Robinson said<\/a>: \u201cKashi is slightly different because he is suspended and can\u2019t play at Luton but with Jordan and Samir we said to them that we wanted to try and take a look at one or two other options in the last two games, including giving Rob Hall a return for example, and Kyran Lofthouse a chance on the bench. They understood that decision and won’t be involved at the weekend.<\/p>\n

The U’s travel to Kenilworth Road on Saturday, hoping to extend their unbeaten league run to ten games but will face tough opposition in league leaders Luton.<\/p>\n
