The end of the season looms as teams up and down the country are preparing for their Good Friday fixture. Good Friday commemorates Jesus Christ\u2019s crucifixion. Therefore, it\u2019s difficult to see what is so \u2018good\u2019 about it, but, it seems apt that on a day that many people will be observing Jesus Christ’s suffering could also be the day Bradford City<\/a> finally, mathematically, succumb to relegation from League One<\/a> as they face the free-scoring Coventry City<\/a>.<\/p>\n

Bradford City Aim to Avoid League One Relegation Against Coventry City<\/h1>\n

Fight Until the End<\/h2>\n

Although, Bradford City manager Gary Bowyer insists he will not allow the players to give up on fighting<\/a> for survival. Bradford have just four games left to perform the biggest miracle since Jesus Christ\u2019s own Easter resurrection.<\/p>\n

Coventry City are currently eighth in the league<\/a> and look to force their way into play-off contention over Easter weekend. Coventry\u2019s form has dipped recently<\/a> but after a late winner<\/a> against Sunderland<\/a>, the Sky Blues will want to press on with a solid victory against the low hanging fruit that Bradford City have become. Former Bantam Jordy Hiwula-Mayifuila is the Sky Blues’ leading scorer<\/a> and will be looking to add to his 11-goal haul.<\/p>\n

The good news is Bradford City cannot be mathematically relegated if they win against Coventry and this could provide Gary Bowyers\u2019 men with the much-needed impetus to snatch three points. The bad news is a defeat, with other results also going against Bradford, would see the Bantams relegated. The ugly news is, whatever the result, it seems all but certain that Bradford will be languishing in League Two next season after a truly dismal season.<\/p>\n

Coventry City Team News<\/h2>\n

The upcoming game will be Mark Robins\u2019 100th game in charge of Coventry<\/a>, but with a batch of injuries<\/a>, Robins might be forced to rest and rotate his squad in foresight of the Monday night game against Portsmouth. Tom Bayliss<\/a> and David Meyler<\/a> are both out of contention but centre half Jordan Willis<\/a> has been back training with the squad.<\/p>\n

Bradford City Team News<\/h2>\n

David Ball<\/a> looks unlikely to feature after an injured knee kept him out of the Bristol Rovers game last weekend. Kelvin Mellor and Calum Woods<\/a> are back in training and could bolster City\u2019s bench. Eoin Doyle<\/a> looks set to start after a small injury scare and Sean Scannell<\/a> could be ready for a full ninety minutes after recovering from a long-term back injury.<\/p>\n
