Gameweek 34 is probably one of the most complicated weeks to tackle this season. With many fantasy managers deploying the wildcard chip, this could be a make or break gameweek.<\/p>\n
The season is coming to an end but the team-building strategies are still as complicated as ever. Brighton and Hove Albion<\/a> and Cardiff City<\/a> have double games this week but next week there are eight teams with two games. Hence, many fantasy managers are deploying the wildcard this week with a plan to use bench boost the next.\u00a0Trying to cover all bases is not at all easy though. There is not much time left as well with yet another Friday deadline.<\/p>\n For those not deploying the wildcard chip, this gameweek\u00a0does have some nice fixtures.<\/p>\n Leicester City<\/a> are in great form and play Newcastle United<\/a> at home this Friday. Jamie Vardy<\/a> is playing really well while\u00a0James Maddison<\/a> and Youri Tielemans<\/a> are other good options to consider.<\/p>\n Everton<\/a> are in good form and they travel to Fulham<\/a>. That should be enough to consider\u00a0Lucas Digne<\/a>,\u00a0Gylfi Sigur\u00f0sson<\/a>, and Richarlison.<\/p>\n This section is for those fantasy managers who are deploying the wildcard chip this week. Let’s do a team-by-team analysis of the teams that have double games in either Gameweek\u00a034 or 35. Hopefully, it will help you best utilise the wildcard.<\/p>\n Fixtures against: Watford<\/a>, Crystal Palace<\/a>, Wolves<\/a><\/strong><\/p>\n Arsenal<\/a> have two tricky-looking away matches to come in the Premier League. In addition, they have two legs with Napoli to deal with as well in the Europa League. So, tough times are ahead for Unai Emery’s men. Sead Kolasinac<\/a>,\u00a0Alexandre Lacazette<\/a>,\u00a0Bernd Leno<\/a>, and\u00a0Nacho Monreal<\/a> will probably get the most minutes.\u00a0Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang<\/a>\u00a0and Aaron Ramsey<\/a> are key players so might be used more against Napoli.<\/p>\n Fixtures against: Bournemouth<\/a>, Cardiff City, Wolves, Tottenham Hotspur<\/a><\/strong><\/p>\n The Seagulls have back to back double gameweeks\u00a0so their players could be good options for your side. With two home games to come, their defensive options are probably safer. Mathew Ryan<\/a>, Shane Duffy<\/a>, and Lewis Dunk<\/a> are the best options on paper.<\/p>\n Fixtures against: Burnley<\/a>, Brighton, Liverpool<\/strong><\/p>\n Their fixtures are hardly tempting so most fantasy managers will likely stay away from struggling Cardiff. However,\u00a0V\u00edctor<\/a> Camarasa<\/a> is a decent looking midfield option at a nice price.<\/p>\n Fixtures against: West Ham United<\/a>, Everton, Manchester City<\/strong><\/p>\n Manchester United<\/a> have gone off the boil somewhat in recent weeks. They have some tough matchups to come with the Barcelona away leg in the Champion League to consider as well. So, the units might probably be better invested elsewhere.<\/p>\n Fixtures against: Crystal Palace, Spurs, Manchester United<\/strong><\/p>\n Manchester City<\/a> have not looked at their scintillating best in recent weeks. They lost to Tottenham Hotspur in the Champions League<\/a> in a tight game as well. However, they have the ability to turn it on in any match. Still, Pep Guardiola’s rotation policy means none of their players are safe, except maybe Ederson. One should consider Raheem Sterling<\/a>,\u00a0Sergio Ag\u00fcero<\/a>, and\u00a0Aymeric Laporte<\/a>\u00a0as they are likely to get the most minutes.<\/p>\n Fixtures against: Wolves, Newcastle, Watford<\/strong><\/p>\n Southampton<\/a> have three quite evenly matched fixtures in the next couple of weeks. The Saints need points to survive the drop. Hence,\u00a0James Ward-Prowse<\/a>,\u00a0Yan Valery,\u00a0Nathan Redmond<\/a>, and\u00a0Angus Gunn<\/a>\u00a0should be considered.<\/p>\n Fixtures against: Huddersfield Town<\/a>, Manchester City, Brighton<\/strong><\/p>\n Tottenham Hotspur<\/a> have a great matchup this week and a decent looking match against\u00a0Brighton to come as well. The two matches at Manchester City will probably tire the players though. This could force Pocchettino to rotate in the easier looking matches. With Harry Kane<\/a> injured,\u00a0Heung-Min Son will be required to step up. Kieran Trippier<\/a>, Christian Eriksen<\/a>, and Dele Alli<\/a> are other decent options. One might also look at Hugo Lloris<\/a> as their starting keeper for the rest of the season.<\/p>\n Fixtures against: Arsenal, Huddersfield, Southampton<\/strong><\/p>\n Watford<\/a> are in high spirits after reaching the FA Cup final in dramatic fashion<\/a>. This poses an interesting dilemma though. Will their players now try to save themselves for the big final or will they be raring to go after such a huge win? Troy Deeney<\/a> has a history of scoring against Arsenal and should be considered very strongly. Ben Foster<\/a> is a solid keeper and those fixtures should tempt you. Other options to consider are Abdoulaye Doucour\u00e9<\/a> and Gerard Deulofeu<\/a>.<\/p>\n Fixtures against: Southampton, Brighton, Arsenal<\/strong><\/p>\n Wolves<\/a> players must be devastated after losing the FA Cup semi-final against Watford despite being 2-0 up. Will they bounce back with a great run to end the season or will that defeat knock the winds out of them?
