The Venezuelan has scored ten goals so far this season, with three in his last six games. He also has a release clause of \u00a316.5 million in his West Bromwich Albion contract.<\/a> Several Premier League clubs will be interested in his services.<\/p>\n

Potential Destinations For Rondon<\/h1>\n

Newcastle United<\/h2>\n

His current loan side are likely to be first in the queue to sign Rondon. The striker has suited Rafa Benitez’s system at Newcastle. Rondon plays alongside Ayoze Perez<\/a> up front in a 5-3-2 formation.<\/p>\n

A move to Newcastle may depend on whether Rafa Benitez remains at St James’ Park. The Spaniard is out of contract at the end of the season. However, he looks set to sign a new deal.\u00a0<\/a><\/p>\n

Crystal Palace<\/h2>\n

With a shortfall of goal-scoring strikers, he may prove a good fit for Crystal Palace<\/a>. Michy Batshuayi<\/a> is likely to return to parent club,\u00a0Chelsea<\/a>. The price tag of the Belgian is likely to put Palace off, as Chelsea want \u00a340 million for the striker.<\/p>\n

This leaves Palace with only three strikers on their books, as Jordan Ayew<\/a> is also likely to return to his parent club. Both Christian Benteke<\/a> and Connor Wickham<\/a> have proven unreliable in recent times. They have both struggled with injuries but it is also in front of goal where problems have occurred. Benteke is yet to register on the goal chart this season, while Wickham has just the one.<\/p>\n

Therefore, South London may be a potential destination for Salomon Rondon. He would suit Roy Hodgson’s style of play, as well as proving to be a cheap option compared to the prices of other strikers.<\/p>\n
