MK Dons have completed their second loan signing of deadline day by bringing in 18-year-old Middlesbrough striker Stephen Walker.<\/p>\n
Walker joins Southampton\u2019s<\/a> Jake Hesketh<\/a> in completing a move to the club.<\/p>\n Walker has spent his entire club career thus far with Middlesbrough, signing his first professional deal with the club on 1st July 2016.<\/p>\n He made his debut earlier in the current season, on 14th August 2016 assisting an Ashley Fletcher goal and scoring in the penalty shoot-out of an EFL Cup tie against Notts County<\/p>\n Walker has also represented England at three different age groups.<\/p>\n In three appearances for the U17\u2019s, he scored one goal, while his only two goals for the U18\u2019s both came against Qatar in March 2018.<\/p>\n His most prolific form for his country has come in the U19 team, where he has six goals in seven games. Three of those came as a hat-trick against Macedonia, while he also scored the winner in a qualifying game against Iceland.<\/p>\n On the move, MK Dons manager Paul Tisdale said<\/a>: \u201cStephen is a young, talented attacking player.<\/p>\n “We’ve spoken in-depth with Middlesbrough about him and they are more than happy for us to take him on loan so he can continue his development with us.<\/p>\n “We are looking for some more energy and drive in our front line and Stephen will do that.
