Football Transfer News: Denis Suarez, Andy Carroll<\/a>, Matteo Darmian<\/a> and Eder Militao<\/a><\/h1>\n

Arsenal to Swoop for Suarez<\/h2>\n

Arsenal<\/a> are preparing a loan offer for Barcelona’s Denis Suarez<\/a>. Funds are restricted at the Emirates, so a permanent move isn’t on the table. However, Unai Emery remains keen to add a playmaker to his midfield.<\/p>\n

Denis Suarez, 25, has only made two league appearances for Barcelona<\/a> this season. The biggest stumbling block could be Barcelona’s insistence on a pre-agreed future transfer. Suarez only has eighteen months left on his contract and Barcelona are keen to avoid losing him for nothing.<\/p>\n

Last weekend Suarez interacted with Arsenal<\/a> on social media, boosting fan’s hopes of a deal. However, if the club cannot agree a future fee with Barcelona, Suarez’s interest will be irrelevant.<\/p>\n

Carroll to Solve Spurs Striker Woes?<\/h2>\n

With Harry Kane out injured until March<\/a> and Fernando Llorente out of form<\/a>,\u00a0Tottenham<\/a> are targeting West Ham’s Andy Carroll<\/a>. With his contract due to expire in the summer, West Ham are reportedly willing to sell Carroll for as little as \u00a32 million.<\/p>\n

Carroll has been plagued by injury throughout his career, but a cut-price deal could appeal to Spurs. With Tottenham clinging on to hopes of a title challenge, a low-price, low-cost deal could make sense.<\/p>\n

Carroll’s style of play differs from that of Harry Kane<\/a>\u00a0but could work. With high-quality crossers of the ball, Carroll’s physical prowess could add a new dimension to Tottenham’s attack.<\/p>\n

With no goals to his name this season, a change of scene could greatly benefit Carroll. Whether West Ham are willing to sell could depend on Marko Arnautovic<\/a>‘s future.<\/p>\n

Matteo Darmian<\/a> Leaving Manchester United<\/h2>\n

Reports from Italy suggest that Matteo Darmian is on the verge of joining Juventus<\/a>. The deal will be a loan move, with an optional \u00a38 million future fee agreed.<\/p>\n

Darmian has struggled for playing time this season, making only five league appearances. Should Darmian depart, Ole Gunnar Solskjaer could recall Timothy Fosu-Mensah from his loan at Fulham.<\/a><\/p>\n

If Juventus land Darmian, their interest in Chelsea<\/a>‘s Emerson Palmieri<\/a> will end. This would be a blow for Chelsea, who are keen to move the full back on to generate extra funds to invest.<\/p>\n

United Defender Blow<\/h2>\n

Manchester United have been dealt a blow in their pursuit of Porto’s Eder Militao, 21. The highly-rated defender’s agent has reportedly told United that his client has decided to join Real Madrid<\/a> in the summer.<\/p>\n

United had been keen to bring in the centre-back this month, despite only joining Porto from Sao Paulo in August 2018. Madrid have agreed a \u20ac50 million fee, worth ten times more than what Porto paid for the defender.<\/p>\n
