The transfer is a loan-to-buy option in either six months or 18 months from now. The specifics\u00a0of the timetable are believed to be performance-based, with Chelsea having the option to extend the loan if certain incentives aren&#8217;t reached.<\/p>\n<h1>Gonzalo Higuain Completes Chelsea Move<\/h1>\n<p>It has been a torrid season so far for Gonzalo Higuain.\u00a0 It all started with Argentina&#8217;s poor <a href=\"https:\/\/lwosonfootball.ms.lastwordonsports.com\/2018\/06\/30\/kylian-mbappes-brace-buries-messis-argentina\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">showing at the World Cup<\/a>, where he did not exactly shower himself in glory.\u00a0 Then, when he returned to Juventus, he found that his place in the team had been taken by <a href=\"https:\/\/fbref.com\/en\/players\/dea698d9\/?utm_campaign=Linker&amp;utm_source=direct&amp;utm_medium=linker-\" target=\"_blank\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Cristiano Ronaldo<\/a>, and he was then forced to leave.<\/p>\n<p>His <a href=\"https:\/\/lwosonfootball.ms.lastwordonsports.com\/2018\/08\/02\/juventus-and-ac-milan-swap-major-stars-in-gonzalo-higuain-and-leonardo-bonucci\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">move to Milan<\/a> looked like a great deal for both sides on paper, but Higuain has struggled to score for the Rossoneri.\u00a0 He has only found the back of the net eight times for Milan this season and his worst moment came when he was sent off against Juventus for a petulant overreaction.<\/p>\n<p>Things may be looking up for the 31-year-old striker as he heads for England.\u00a0 His move to Chelsea will reunite him with Maurizio Sarri, his former manager from his time at Napoli.\u00a0 Under Sarri, Higuain played some of his best football down the middle of Sarri&#8217;s strict 4-3-3 formation.<\/p>\n<p>He scored 36 Serie A goals in their only season together, earning his only Capocannoniere trophy.\u00a0 Higuain is hopeful that reuniting with the attack-minded boss will let him once again find his best form.\u00a0 The good news for Higuain is he will have a lot more help at Chelsea with players like <a href=\"https:\/\/fbref.com\/en\/players\/a39bb753\/?utm_campaign=Linker&amp;utm_source=direct&amp;utm_medium=linker-\" target=\"_blank\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Eden Hazard<\/a> and <a href=\"https:\/\/fbref.com\/en\/players\/b9fbae28\/?utm_campaign=Linker&amp;utm_source=direct&amp;utm_medium=linker-\" target=\"_blank\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">N&#8217;Golo Kante<\/a> around him.<\/p>\n<p>Higuain is the type of player that if you get him with the right pieces around him, he can really thrive.\u00a0 He&#8217;s going to miss some chances, some really good chances, but he is the type of prolific finisher Chelsea need to keep ahold of their coveted top-four spot.<\/p>\n<p>Main Photo<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><a id=\"RgaTC-ePQ4FV_1ITwOznCg\" class=\"gie-single\" style=\"color: #a7a7a7; text-decoration: none; font-weight: normal !important; border: none; display: inline-block;\" href=\"http:\/\/www.gettyimages.co.uk\/detail\/1088459048\" target=\"_blank\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Embed from Getty Images<\/a><script>window.gie=window.gie||function(c){(gie.q=gie.q||[]).push(c)};gie(function(){gie.widgets.load({id:'RgaTC-ePQ4FV_1ITwOznCg',sig:'KiqpSxeXUfRVVF-9eqhw5eexf5vKZLZBitdpKDAh9wE=',w:'436px',h:'594px',items:'1088459048',caption: true ,tld:'co.uk',is360: false })});<\/script><script src='\/\/embed-cdn.gettyimages.com\/widgets.js' charset='utf-8' async><\/script><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Argentine international striker Gonzalo Higuain has completed his complex loan move to Chelsea from Juventus, according\u00a0to tweets from Fabrizio Romano.
