MK Dons have completed the signing of Ryan Watson from Barnet. The midfielder will move to Stadium MK on a one-year contract upon the expiration of his deal with Barnet.<\/p>\n
Watson becomes the second signing in two days for the Dons and the second of the Paul Tisdale era. Former Exeter City captain Jordan Moore-Taylor<\/a> made the move to Buckinghamshire yesterday and Watson is the first of the expected many to join him.<\/p>\n Watson came through the youth academy at Everton whilst also playing for Wigan Athletic and Leicester City as a youngster. He made no senior appearances for any of these team, though. His senior debut came in 2014 while on loan at Northampton Town.<\/p>\n Across two different spells, he made 20 appearances for the Cobblers. His first professional goal for them came in the 3-2 Football League Trophy win over Colchester United.<\/p>\n Watson made the move to Barnet at the start of the 2016\/17 campaign. During his time at The Hive, he made 52 appearances and scored two goals. In his last season with the Bees, he contributed to six goals – scoring one and assisting five.<\/p>\n In total, the 24-year-old has made 74 senior appearances throughout his career.<\/p>\n“I’m delighted to be here”<\/h2>\n
