REPORT: Sheffield United Closing in on Jayden Bogle and Max Lowe

Bogle

Following the completion of the story of the season last time out, Sheffield United look set to go into their second season back in the top flight more equipped than ever. According to John Percy of the Telegraph, the Blades are close to signing Derby County duo Jayden Bogle and Max Lowe alongside West Bromwich Albion’s Oliver Burke.

The reported trio of arrivals would undoubtedly see Sheffield United avoid the often severe case of second season syndrome in the Premier League. Instead, Chris Wilder’s side will look to pick up where they left off in the top half of the table.

Bargain Deal for Bogle and Lowe

We have already seen plenty of big money moves this transfer window with Chelsea securing Kai Havertz and Manchester United securing Donny van de Beek. When it comes to bargain buys, however, it may well prove to be Sheffield United who comes out on top.

The reported combined fee for Bogle and Lowe is as little as £10 million. For such a small price, Chris Wilder is getting two capable fullbacks ready to take the Premier League by storm.

Bogle, 20, and Lowe, 23, have a whole career ahead of them yet to reach the level expected in the top flight. Whatever way you look at it, Sheffield United have themselves a bargain deal.

Oliver Burke Also Nearing Move

According to John Percy, West Brom winger, Oliver burke, is also nearing a move. The deal will reportedly see Callum Robinson head in the opposite direction after a successful loan spell at the Hawthorns last season.

Should Sheffield United complete the trio of moves, they will be more equipped than ever to become a mainstay in the Premier League. Chris Wilder will be hoping for similar fortunes next season as his side look to impress once more.
