Premier League Matchday Seven: Best Fantasy Matchups

Premier League Matchday Seven

There are some tasty fixtures this weekend in Premier League matchday seven. Chelsea against Liverpool is definitely the most mouth-watering for football fans.

However, clashes between the top-six clubs do not tend to yield that many points for fantasy football. Let’s look at the top three matchups that are likely to generate the most points in the official Fantasy Premier League game.

Premier League Matchday Seven Fantasy Preview

Manchester City v Brighton and Hove Albion

Whenever Pep Guardiola’s men take the pitch, they tend to score a lot of goals. Obviously, that translates into plenty of points for the players on the pitch.

Unfortunately, predicting who is going to start for Man City has become one of the most difficult tasks for fantasy managers. Their midfield is like a minefield with so many options.

Last week, the citizens scored five away at Cardiff and then put three past Oxford in the Carabao Cup.

Players to Consider

Definitely, Aguero should be there in your side as he did not feature midweek. From midfield, Bernardo Silva has been in good form and did not play against Oxford so could start.

Sterling and Sané also did not start in that game. David Silva on the other hand started and played for 63 minutes. Nobody can say for sure who will start but Aguero seems to be the best bet from this game.

Arsenal v Watford

Unai Emery’s men seem to have developed the happy habit of winning games without playing too well. Watford are the visitors to the Emirates this week and will face the deadly duo of Aubameyang and Lacazette.

This match might be close with goals for both teams. Arsenal‘s defence has not looked solid at all and Watford could find some joy if they take their chances. Unlike the City game, you can predict most of the starters from this game.

Players to Consider

Lacazette and Aubameyang both are in good form but Laca seems to be really sharp and hungry for goals. From Watford, Pereyra, Deeney, Holebas and Gray all could score as well.

Everton v Fulham

This game features two teams with porous defences so the attacking players could be considered seriously. They have scored eight goals each from six games so there could be a lot of players on the scoresheet. Definitely, one to watch out for on Premier League matchday seven.

Players to Consider

From Everton Richarlison, Digne, Walcott and Sigurdsson all could do well. Cenk Tosun lost his place to Calvert-Lewin last week so maybe you should think carefully before picking him. Fulham seem to play for Mitrovic so if they score it will likely be him getting the goals.
