Southampton Remain Firm on Van Dijk
Virgil van Dijk has been left out of the Southampton 25-man squad, as the club remain firm on his potential transfer. Saints’ fans must applaud new manager Mauricio Pellegrino’s staunch stance on the player’s demands, saying the club will keep him for this season. Sanches, Not Vidal, Could Move to Manchester?
Bayern Munich manager Carlo Ancelotti was clear in saying that Arturo Vidal will not be leaving the club: “There is no way. Vidal is our player, I have a lot of confidence (in keeping him).” But rumours swirl that Manchester United might just have a chance at signing Renato Sanches, who would be welcomed by fans. Regarding Sanches, Ancelotti said: “It could be a possibility, but it can also be a possibility to stay with us. At this moment Renato is training with us.”
