
IPL 2020 Uncapped Best XI.
The 13th edition of biggest T20 league in the world has come to an end and Mumbai Indians have been crowned as champions of the IPL for fifth time. IPL is a platform where talent meets opportunities. Now, this is time to select our IPL 2020 uncapped Best XI of the season consisting of Indian youngsters.
With some exciting young talent coming through the ranks of Under 19 and domestic cricket, we saw some of them carrying the teams and winning the hearts of the fans. Despite there not being any uncapped IPL players rule, teams have chosen to play them due to strong performances.
So, let’s take a look at some of the uncapped players and youngsters in who empress all in the 13th edition of Indian Premier League.
1. Ruturaj Gaikwad: (CSK)

After being part of the CSK setup since 2018, Gaikwad finally got his opportunity to make his IPL debut in what we could call a tough season for CSK.
Having performed well in past for India A and Maharashtra, many were familiar of his potential. However, initially he wasn’t just able to replicate it while batting at 4.
At the business end of the tournament, the 23 year old what is the opportunity to better at the top and how well did he grab it.
Gaikwad scored 204 runs in 6 innings at an average of 51 and strike rate of 121 coming back not out on two occasions.
He also was awarded with three consecutive man of the match while chasing and winning CSK games.

2. Devdutt Padikkal: (RCB)

Soon after pleasing everyone’s eyes while waiting for his state side at the domestic stage, Padikkal was bought by RCB at base price of 20 lakhs.
The southpaw straight away got the chance and did not fail to impress the viewers.
Playing all 15 games, youngster scored 473 runs at an average of 31.53 with five fifties to his name.
After the end of the season, he was also awarded with the emerging player of the season award for an impressive debut season.

Yet another year and yet another responsible and consistent season for this man. Yadav, since he joined MI has barely done anything wrong with the batting hand.
For the third consecutive season, Surya has scored over 400 runs for MI. India 16 matches is code 480 runs at an average of 40 and striking over 145.
Rating the Australian IPL players in 2020 out of 10
Even after not being called up, this versatile batsman has impressed all the the cricketing fraternity and has found a place in heart of fans. Perhaps the most consistent batsman among our IPL 2020 uncapped XI.
4. Ishan Kishan: (MI) (WK)

After captaining the under 19 Indian side in 2016 World Cup, this was the first IPL season that turned out a breakthrough season for him.
After missing a couple of games with injury, a joint the the starting lineup and went all guns blazing.
In the 14 matches that he played, Kishan scored 516 runs at an average of 57 and strike rate of 146. He also missed a deserving hundred against RCB just by one run.
The 22 year old also finished the season with 30 sixes in 13 innings, which was most by any player in this season.
In summary, despite missing a couple of games, Ishan Kishan is in this side as the highest run-scorer. He has been brilliant for the Mumbai Indians. As a result, he is perhaps the key batsman in our IPL 2020 Uncapped XI of the tournament.
5. Abdul Samad: (SRH)

The Jammu and Kashmir youngster who got his first IPL contract this season for SRH enjoyed his debut season as a finisher.
Samad scored 111 runs in 12 matches at 22.2 and also got a wicket to his name.
The 18 year old’s strike rate of one 170.76, which is just behind Pollard, Archer, Hardik and Jadeja in the list of highest strike rate this season.
The highlight of the season for him came against DC where he scored 33 runs off just 16 balls faced. His ability to hit sixes against bowlers such as Nortje and Rabada ensure that he is in our IPL 2020 uncapped best XI among Indians.
6. Rahul Tewatia: (RR)

One of the best finds of the season, Tewatia was the only player this season to achieve the double of 200 runs and 10 wickets in a season.
In 14 matches the left hander scored 255 runs at an average of 42.5 and strike rate of 134.5 and also scalped 10 wickets in the season.
He also scored famous 5 sixes in one over against Cottrell in which was looking impossible chase against KXIP.
7. Ravi Bishnoi: (KXIP)

After a very good under 19 World Cup, Bishnoi right away broke into KXIP setup in his very first season.
He, fortunately lived to the expectations and had a good season. This, despite Kings XI’s struggles and as a result he makes it into our IPL 2020 uncapped best XI as one of the brightest prospects.
The leggie played all the 14 games and grabbed 12 wickets at economy of just 7.3
His best bowling figures of 3/29 against SRH where he got prized scalps of Warner and Bairstow.

8. Shivam Mavi: (KKR)

After an impressive 2018 U19 World Cup, the speedster got his first IPL contract for KKR in 2018 where he took 5 wickets.
After missing out 2019 season with stress fracture, he came back good in this season and played 8 games taking 9 wickets.
He was also awarded as MOTM for his 2/20 in 4 overs against RR.
9. Arshdeep Singh: (KXIP)

In his second season for the KXIP, Paisa turned out as a really good option at the death.
Against SRH, while they needed just 20 runs with 6 wickets in hand, Arshdeep got 3 and KXIP went on to win the game.
The 20 year old played 8 games and took 9 wickets at an economy of 8 and best bowling figures being 3/23.
10. T. Natarajan: (SRH)
Natarajan and Bumrah in the death is definitely worth trying before the T20 World cup for Team India. Hope selectors bring in Natarajan to the T20I squad since he is anyway travelling to Australia.

One of the best finds in terms of bowling, Natarajan after warming the bench for two seasons got a chance in absence of Bhuvneshwar Kumar.
With huge total of 76 yorkers (most in IPL2020), he impressed everyone with his death bowling and grabbed a national call for India’s tour of Australia.
In 16 matches, it took 16 wickets at an economy of just eat while bowling at the back end.

11. Varun Chakravarthy: (KKR)

Chakravarthy, after a really good season where he also grabbed a fifer was rewarded with maiden national call up but was unfortunately ruled out due to an injury.
The mystery spinner took 17 wickets in 13 games at an economy of 6.84.
The 29 year old with another IPL just around the corner still has a chance to break into the national side with consistent performances. He has been the best bowler in IPL 2020 among the uncapped players and makes it into our XI.
