In this year’s IPL which players can confidently say that they are among the best performance 2020 list?

So, it’s been close to a month that IPL 2020 has started, and it’s time to take a look at the players who’ve performed the best this season. This isn’t a separate comparison for batting and bowling, it is a combined analysis for batting, bowling as well as fielding.

10. Jasprit Bumrah

BOOM BOOM BUMRAH! Yes, he’s back with a splash. He didn’t have a good outing in the NZ earlier this year, but he’s done well in this IPL.

He averages 18 with an economy of 7.44. He’s the 5th highest wicket taker in this IPL.

9. Rashid Khan

Rashid Khan is on our list of IPL best performance 2020.

Rashid has been superb in this IPL, he has picked wickets at an average of 18 with an exceptional economy of 5.47.

Rashid Khan is number 9 on our list of IPL best performance 2020.

8. Mohammed Shami

‘Sensational’ Shami as described by Aakash Chopra definitely suits him. He has been exceptional in the IPL, he averages 20 with the ball with an economy of 8.43. He’s the 2nd highest wicket tker in this IPL.

7. Mayank Agarwal

Mayank didn’t have good outings in the IPL in almost every IPL where he has played, but this time he’s spreading fireworks with the bat.

He averages 40 with the bat at a SR of 155.  He is the 3rd highest run scorer in this IPL.

6. Shikhar Dhawan

Dhawan wasn’t able to get going in the initial games of the IPL. But in the last couple of matches, he’s in sensational form scoring unbeaten hundreds on the trot! And he is the first person in the IPL history to achieve this feat.

He averages 66 with a SR of 149 in this IPL. He is the 2nd highest run scorer in this IPL.

Shikhar Dhawan is number 6 on our list of IPL best performance 2020.

5. Sam Curran

Sam Curran is on our list of IPL best performance 2020.

Easily this youngster has been the best performing player from the struggling CSK this season. With the bat, he averages 17 with a SR of 151.

With the ball, he averages 29 with a SR of 8.50.

Sam Curran is number 5 on our list of IPL best performance 2020.

4. Kagiso Rabada

Rabada is doing wonders with the ball in the IPL as he’s doing ever since he’s playing the IPL. He averages 16 with the ball at an economy of 7.58.

He’s the highest wicket taker in this IPL.

3. KL Rahul

KL Rahul is in the form of his life, be it Ranji Trophy, Vijay Hazare, SMAT, ODI, T20Is he has scored runs everywhere. IPL is no exception.

He has been phenomenal in this IPL, and is the leading run scorer with 540 runs at an average of 68 and a SR of 136.

Kl Rahul is number 3 on our list of IPL best performance 2020.

 

2. Rahul Tewatia

Before this IPL, people didn’t expect to do such wonders, but he has done it. In almost all the games in which the Rajasthan Royals have won, Tewatia had a role in winning it.

In this IPL, he averages 44 with a SR of 145 with the bat. He averages 28 with the ball at an excellent economy of 7.25.

1. Jofra Archer

Jofra Archer is definitely the Most Valuable Player in the IPL so far, he has been exceptional with the ball and has played cameos in his batting wherever required.

He has picked 15 wickets at an average of 19 and at an exceptional economy of 6.6. With the bat, he averages 21 at a SR of 198.

Jofra Archer is number 1 on our list of IPL best performance 2020.

 

Though the top players in this list, both are from the Rajasthan Royals, still Rajasthan Royals are languishing at the bottom 2 positions in the points table, thus proving that Cricket is a team game.

A couple of players may win you some matches, but to be winning regularly other players should also step up.
