Glenn Maxwell finished with 13 from just 9 balls, including two fours. Nicholas Pooran scored 25 off just 8 balls, with three sixes and a four, with most of them coming in the final over against Jofra Archer. The Rajasthan Royals’ bowlers did not bowl well throughout the innings and the short boundaries made it easy to put away bad deliveries.

Tewatia came in as a pinch hitter but struggled to get going most of his innings. In fact, he played very slow and his batting meant that the asking rate climbed up. He put a lot of pressure on Sanju Samson.

Shami strikes the killer blow

Mohammed Shami had Sanju Samson caught behind when he was on 85 with a slow bouncer that changed the momentum of the game again back to the Kings XI Punjab’s favour.

Tewatia and Archer change the game in style

An absolute smashing effort by Rahul Tewatia in the end and Jofra Archer’s onslaught changed the entire game within two overs. Jofra Archer hit two sixes from his first two balls and Rahul Tewatia made up for his mistakes by scoring five sixes in a single over against Sheldon Cottrell.

You would have been mistaken for thinking that prime Yuvraj Singh was batting instead. But it wasn’t. It was a fired up Rahul Tewatia. What a game, honestly!

T20 Cricket can never be written off. Archer and Tewatia proved exactly why taking the game deep is perfect because a few hits here and there can change the entire course of the game.
