Pakistan Super League 2020 Gears Up For Restart
The Pakistan Super League 2020 will restart in November, according to reports from the Pakistan Cricket Board. The PCB chief Wasim Khan stated “ The four qualified teams should have enough time to prepare for these games and such a statement provides a clear thought process for those involved.”
The four teams that will be competing in the play-offs are the Multan Sultans, the Karachi Kings, the Lahore Qalandars and Peshawar Zalmi. There are four play-off games still left in the tournament. These include both the qualifier and eliminator 1, eliminator 2 and the final.

The coronavirus protocols will remain the same as in the other tournaments around the world. Again, there will be a bio-secure bubble for those involved in the Pakistan Super League 2020. They will not be allowed out of the bubble or face isolation before being able to play again.

Leading Run Scorers In The Pakistan Super League 2020

Babar Azam, unsuprisingly is the highest run-scorer so far at PSL 2020. In just eight matches, Babar has scored 294 runs at a batting average of 58.80. Ben Dunk and Luke Ronchi are the two overseas players in the top five. They both have 266 runs each at batting averages of 53.20 and 38. Shadab Khan and Kamran Akmal round off the list at numbers four and five.

Despite this he did not play against England in the recent T20 series. He has taken 14 wickets in 8 matches. His economy rate, though, is 9.14. This is perhaps why the Pakistan selectors were doubting whether to pick him or not against England’s gun batting line-up.
Shaheen Afridi, Mohammad Amir and Wahab Riaz all form part of the top 5. Imran Tahir is the only overseas bowler to make this list. He has 10 wickets in 7 games at a economy rate of 7.42 at the Pakistan Super League 2020.
