The Best T20 Spinners Of All-Time

It is perhaps fair to say that T20 Cricket has helped spinners of all kinds rekindle their way back into international cricket. It was perhaps getting to a point where spinners were fading away. Recently, in the England v Pakistan T20 series, both Adil Rahid and Shadab Khan have proved their worth. But, deciding the best T20 spinners of all-time is not an easy task.

There have been many great spin bowlers that have graced T20 Cricket in the past. Both domestically and internationally. But, who are the top 5 best t20 spinners of all-time?

1. Sunil Narine

Sunil Narine is the highest wicket-taker as a spin bowler in T20s. In 339 matches, he has picked up 383 wickets for the various franchises that he has represented over the years. His bowling average of 20.30 and economy rate of 6.01 are both outstanding numbers, considering that he has bowled in the power play and at the death before.

Perhaps one of his greatest moments will remain his maiden over in the 2018 CPL to Nicholas Pooran. He was called up at the 2012 IPL to represent the Kolkata Knight Riders and the rest was history as they say. 24 wickets in just 15 games, meant he was the second-highest wicket taker in the tournament, behind Morne Morkel. KKR won their first IPL trophy. He was awarded the player of the tournament award in 2012 and he later won the award again at the 2018 IPL.

Sunil Narine sits number one on our list of best T20 spinners of all-time.

Rashid Khan burst on the scene at the 2017 IPL, where he bamboozled most of the batsmen with his googly. His IPL success has also meant that he has been able to play in other leagues all around the world.
