His frame at 6-foot-6 and 230 pounds created matchup problems for opponents and led to some big-time performances, including a 148-yard outing against Wake Forest.

Robinson is a top-end target with balance to his game, excelling in curl and RPO slant concepts while also keeping defenses honest with his in-breaking routes. There is hope that, with the addition of Ashton Daniels to the team, he will be able to connect with Robinson over the middle of the field, which will, in turn, open up the rest of the offense.

With Robinson at the top of scouting reports weekly, having more reliable options at receiver is crucial. Micahi Danzy gives FSU an explosive option to go to. In 2025, Danzy ranked first nationally with six 50-yard plays, displaying his quick burst and speed as a track star at Florida State.

While Danzy will need to improve his route-running and ball security, his effectiveness in jet sweep motion and toss sets became evident last season. Just a sophomore, Danzy provides Daniels with an electric No. 2 option.

Although No. 3 target Lawayne McCoy transferred to Louisville after recording 396 receiving yards and three scores, the Seminoles have several other options to turn to.

Cocoa High School product Jayvan Boggs enters 2026 as the projected starter in the slot. He brings impressive high school production, having finished his career with 99 catches for 2,133 yards and 24 touchdowns. A strong route runner who knows how to change speed and direction, Boggs needs to take a step forward to provide stability outside of Robinson and Danzy.

Redshirt freshmen pair Tae’Shaun Gelsey (6-4, 231) and Teriq Mallory (6-5, 213) round out the list of returners. A four-star wide receiver, Carter chose FSU over offers from Georgia, Alabama, Clemson, among others.

The Atlanta, Ga. native received high praise from head coach Mike Norvell during the spring and is expected to make an immediate impact this fall. Fellow freshman recruit Jasen Lopez is another young player with high expectations heading into 2026.

During his career at Chaminade-Madonna Prep, he totaled 313 catches for 5,211 yards and 59 touchdowns while also averaging 24.3 points as a basketball star.
