Let’s take a quick look at who’s out after Week 1 in our Georgia Transfer Portal Recap. Unlike some of its SEC counterparts, Kirby Smart’s squad has not seen a mass exodus of talent.<\/p>\n
We know we are supposed to focus on who’s leaving, but we were never very good at following directions anyway. Two Dawgs decided to stay in Athens rather than test the waters of the Transfer Portal on Monday.<\/p>\n
Joenel Aguero<\/strong><\/a><\/p>\n A former five-star recruit, Aguero became a reliable starter at the “Star” position. He leaves Georgia with 72 career tackles and a clutch interception in 2025\u2019s overtime win against Tennessee<\/p>\n Daniel Harris<\/a> A physically gifted corner with 27 appearances and seven starts. Harris provided key depth and perimeter length, totaling 30 tackles and three pass deflections across three seasons in Athens.<\/p>\n Kris Jones<\/strong><\/a><\/p>\n A versatile defender who transitioned from inside to outside linebacker, Jones appeared in 14 games during the 2025 season. He provided key depth as a hybrid edge rusher, recording seven tackles.<\/p>\n Roderick Robinson II<\/strong><\/a><\/p>\n Robinson is a bruising running back whose Georgia career was hampered by injuries. He totaled 268 scrimmage yards and three touchdowns, highlighted by his touchdown against Alabama in 2025\u2019s SEC Championship victory.<\/p>\n Nyier Daniels<\/strong><\/a><\/p>\n A massive six-foot-eight-inch tackle from New Jersey who appeared in four career games. A former four-star recruit, Daniels enters the portal with three years of eligibility remaining.<\/p>\n Ondre Evans<\/strong><\/a><\/p>\n Evans is a former top-100 recruit whose Georgia career was stalled by injury. After redshirting in 2024 and missing the 2025 season due to ACL surgery, he transfers with four years of eligibility.<\/p>\n Jaden Harris<\/a> A core special teams contributor and rotational safety, Harris appeared in nine games during his lone season in Athens. The Miami transfer recorded six tackles before committing to Kansas.<\/p>\n Bo Hughley<\/a> A massive former four-star recruit, Hughley appeared in 20 games with two starts at tackle. He provided valuable SEC experience and depth before transferring to play for Coach Prime (Deion Sanders).<\/p>\n Adrian Maddox<\/strong><\/a><\/p>\n Maddox is a veteran transfer from Alabama State who provided secondary depth and special teams value. He appeared in four games for the Bulldogs in 2025, recording four tackles before redshirting to preserve his eligibility.<\/p>\n Elo Modozie<\/strong><\/a><\/p>\n Modozie is a highly-touted Army transfer who provided veteran depth. He appeared in 13 games during the 2025 season, recording seven tackles and half of a tackle for loss.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n Jordan Thomas<\/strong><\/a><\/p>\n A massive interior presence and former blue-chip recruit, Thomas recorded six tackles and a sack in eight games. He provided rotational depth before transferring to Shane Beamer’s Gamecocks.<\/p>\n\n
