Green went off last week against Ole Miss in Oxford. He passed for 305 yards and had another 111 rushing yards for an eye-popping 416 of total offense. He had one touchdown running and one throwing. Arkansas will need big performances out of Green, especially with a porous defense. The Hogs face another challenge this week when they head to Memphis to play the Tigers. Memphis has played spoiler to the SEC (see Ole Miss, Arkansas, and Mississippi State). They are one of the Top G6 teams in 2025. Look for this one to go down to the wire yet again.

Pick: Yes, Sirrrrr, Arkansas

No. 22 Auburn @ No. 11 Oklahoma

Why isn’t this game on ABC at 7:30? The 3:30 on ESPN just doesn’t hit the same as the SEC on CBS did. And no, we are not trying to bring back Gary. This is one of the highlights of the Week 4 slate. This game could have been the Hot Seat Bowl. Both Brent Venables and Hugh Freeze have underperformed at their current school. Venables and the Sooners have found life Courtesy of Ben Arbuckle and John Mateer. The two have revitalized the Sooners’ offense and made a perfect complement to the stingy Sooner defense.

Freeze also upgraded this offseason, bringing in Jackson Arnold from Norman. Arnold has breathed new life into the Auburn offense with his legs. He will face a big challenge on his homecoming. Oklahoma showed two weeks ago that it can shut down a run-heavy game in its win against Michigan. For Auburn to turn the corner and win in Norman, Arnold will have to show he can consistently hit Cam Coleman and Eric Singleton Jr. Both are top-end receivers who have yet to benefit from the new QB1.

Pick: Oklahoma.

Photo Credit: BRYAN TERRY/THE OKLAHOMAN / USA TODAY NETWORK via Imagn Images

Tulane @ No. 13 Ole Miss

Lane Kiffin likes to go out on the ocean and go fishing for a big catch. The tables may turn on Saturday. Jon Sumrall and Tulane come in undefeated and have already knocked off two P4 teams in Duke and Northwestern. We are not saying that Ole Miss is the same as either of those two schools, but the Green should pose a considerable wave and challenge for the Rebels. Kiffin’s biggest concern on Saturday won’t be who the quarterback is. Trinidad Chambliss looked like he had been in Oxford his whole life on Saturday, passing and running for big numbers while subbing for an injured Austin Simmons. The D2 transfer completed 21 of 29 passes for 353 yards and one touchdown, while also rushing for 62 yards and two scores. The bigger problem will be having his Rebel defense stop anybody. Sure, they got the stop and turnover when it counted, but this Ole Miss defense still seems very much a work in progress.

Pick: Tulane

South Carolina @ No. 23 Missouri

What happened to the Gamecocks? LaNorris Sellers got hurt. Sellers was no doubt South Carolina’s best player coming into 2025. We all knew that. When he went out with a suspected concussion, we saw the impact it had on the Gamecock offense. The offense struggled to move the ball, and South Carolina got blown out by lil ole Vanderbilt at home. If Sellers is out for an extended time, this could bring hard times for Shane Beamer. The “other” Columbia is a hostile environment, especially at night. This one could get crooked again quickly and have Beamer questioning if Blacksburg might sound better in the offseason.

Pick: Missouri

Florida @ No. 4 Miami

What can we say that hasn’t already been said? Brent Pry and Deshaun Foster got the coaching carousel started on Sunday when both of them were let go. Florida continues to stumble under Billy Napier. They have now lost two games in a row and are facing a Miami team that is looking to make a statement. If this game gets crooked and out of hand, we could see Napier added to the carousel list. We’ve been here before. We’ve counted Napier out, and he has proved us wrong. We have also seen Mario Cristobal find a way to lose a game. All of these are valid options and in play.

Pick: The U

Main Photo: Sam Navarro-Imagn Images

Let’s get our SEC Week 4 betting lines started.
