Last week, we recapped season one part one recipes<\/a>! Which included several family recipes. Including an incredible brat recipe from the Lombardi family yes, THAT Lombardi family. \u00a0It is SO GOOD. \u00a0We also covered sliders, Sammies, and snacks. Did you whip up a batch of pulled pork BBQ for an easy dinner? Maybe you tested some of those dips, or perhaps you made a shopping list to have a stocked bar for kickoff weekend. This week, we will cover appetizers, sweet treats, and football-shaped treats.<\/p>\n

Football Friday Tailgate Treats Recap Season One Part Two<\/h2>\n

Appetizers<\/h3>\n

Appetizers are always a huge hit at tailgate parties. They are quick bites that are easy to eat. \u00a0I tried to make them as simple as possible, or something that you can make a day or two ahead of time. I started with crockpot meatballs<\/a>, easy and tasty. \u00a0It is always fun to have a unique appetizer, how about three<\/a>? Obviously, our multiple dips<\/a> are crossover appetizers. \u00a0You can never have too many appetizers.<\/p>\n

Football-Shaped Treats<\/h3>\n

Everyone loves a good football-shaped treat for a tailgate party. \u00a0We found some great ones last year. So many that we had a two-part series. In the first part, we covered the savory treats. For example, there was a pepperoni football, Pigskins in a blanket, a football cheese ball, and a personal favorite, football spinach dip breadsticks. Part two was the sweet treats that looked cute as footballs. \u00a0Cocoa Krispies Football treats, \u00a0Game Day Chocolate chip Cheesecake Ball, Touchdown Brownies, Pull apart football cake a.k.a CUPCAKES! All the football sweet treat recipes<\/a>.\u00a0And one more sweet treat is the\u00a0Kahlua Brownie Surprise<\/a>, which is easy, a little boozy, and fun.<\/p>\n

Theme Tailgate Treats<\/h3>\n

Football season is a theme in itself. \u00a0However, if you are creative enough, you can come up with a new theme every week. You cannot skip the Halloween theme treats<\/a> that you can easily incorporate with your team’s wins or losses, depending on how your season is unfolding. There are the Thanksgiving Leftovers<\/a> tailgate treats, use up those extra leftovers. As well as the prestigious Army\/Navy game-themed treats<\/a>. \u00a0That one was fun to add a little history as well as recipes.<\/p>\n

On The Menu<\/h3>\n

Next week, we will continue our past season recaps. Season Two will be on deck. We are moving closer and closer to the kickoff of the 2025 season! Get those recipes saved so you are ready to roll.<\/p>\n
