The new purple jersey now features a beige and white tri-stripe on each shoulder and a purple and white tri-stripe down the side of the beige pants. The white jersey numbers feature a shiny gold trim, helping the text pop on the uniform. The colorway has received mixed reviews on social media. But up close, this new set looks very sharp. Both <a href=\"https:\/\/www.sports-reference.com\/cfb\/players\/jonah-coleman-1.html\" target=\"_blank\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Jonah Coleman<\/a> and <a href=\"https:\/\/lastwordonsports.com\/collegefootball\/2025\/07\/25\/washingtons-ephesians-prysock-at-big-ten-media-days\/\" target=\"_blank\" target=\"_self\">Ephesians Prysock<\/a> commented on the new uniforms and provided some more insight into the new fabric and possible combinations in the future.<\/span><\/p>\n<h2><strong>Washington\u2019s New Adidas Uniforms<\/strong><\/h2>\n<h3><strong>Prysock on New Washington Uniform<\/strong><\/h3>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">\u201cI like \u2018em,\u201d Prysock said. \u201cThey\u2019re more like the black ones with the alternate colors.\u201d He was referring to the uniform fabric in terms of its comparison with the black alternates from last season. Adidas has a new fabric technology, and last season&#8217;s blackout uniforms had it. The new home and away uniforms for the Huskies now utilize that new technology, and Prysock confirmed that at Big Ten Media Days. \u201cI think [the fabric] is a little different [than the old ones], but I like the color-way of them.\u201d<\/span><\/p>\n<h3><strong>Coleman On New Washington Uniform<\/strong><\/h3>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">\u201cI feel like adding gold kind of adds to the uniform,\u201d Coleman said, referring to the gold trim on the jersey numbers. \u201cI like \u2018em, I feel like the gold outline on the jersey really makes us like, \u2018Ok we have gold on our jersey now.\u2019 We just had purple and white with no gold [last year].\u201d Coleman also alluded to having different color combination ideas last season. It sounded like this new uniform may pave the way for future combinations.\u00a0<\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><br \/>\n<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">\u201cAll together we\u2019re able to do a couple more uniform combinations that I had the idea of last year,\u201d he said. \u201cBut it was like, \u2018Oh, you don\u2019t have gold on your pants or jersey.\u2019\u201d <\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">The previous iteration of Washington\u2019s home uniforms featured a solid purple jersey. The jersey had purple shoulder stripes, white numbers, and no trim color. From Coleman\u2019s comments, the lack of gold accents may have limited the options in terms of uniform combinations.
