They’ll each have an opportunity to showcase their talent to evaluators at the next level in preparation for the NFL Draft in April.

Will Rogers Caps Collegiate Career

Rogers’ five-year career began at Mississippi State under head coach Mike Leach’s air raid offense. In four seasons as a Bulldog, Rogers etched his name all over the SEC record books. His 12,315 passing yards are second-most all-time in the conference. In back-to-back years, Rogers put his name at the top of the single-season completions list with 505 in 2021 and 415 in 2022. Those numbers rank first and second all time, respectively. In his career at Mississippi State he completed a record 1,301 passes. No other SEC quarterback has ever eclipsed the 1,000 mark in their career. Rogers holds the SEC record for career completion percentage (69.3%), and ranks fourth all-time in passing touchdowns with 94 in the conference.

He stayed committed to Washington after transferring despite the coaching change, citing Jedd Fisch as a head coach who could help him play on Sundays. Through six games, Rogers’ deep ball was elite. He attempted 21 passes of 20-plus air yards in the first half of the season. On those throws, his average depth of target was 30 yards, his adjusted completion percentage was 62% and he notched six touchdowns with zero interceptions. Pro Football Focus credited Rogers with 11 “big time throws” and zero turnover worthy passes in that stretch with a 98.4 pass grade. With time to throw, Rogers showed he could make those downfield passes in a pro-style system.

As the season progressed, the downfield pass became a less productive piece of his game. Despite that, Rogers completed 70.7% of his passes for 2,458 yards, 14 touchdowns, and seven interceptions last year in 11 games as the starter. On Monday, he’ll highlight the group of former Huskies showcasing their skills for the next level.

Husky Pass Catchers

Three former Husky pass-catchers will showcase on Monday, all three being former transfers. Jackson is one of them, and his latest performance yielded four touchdown catches on 11 receptions with 161 receiving yards. The sixth-year senior began his career at Michigan in 2019 before transferring to Washington before the 2021 season. Last year was his most productive yet with eight total touchdowns and nearly 900 receiving yards. Jackson’s speed in the slot position makes him an intriguing prospect at the next level.

Jeremiah Hunter will participate in Washington’s Pro Day as well. Hunter transferred to Washington before the 2024 season from Cal. In Berkeley, the 6’-2” and 212 pound receiver led the team in receiving in back to back seasons. Hunter had 965 yards in 2022 and 731 in 2023. At Washington, Hunter caught just one touchdown pass with just shy of 500 receiving yards. His best game was in the Sun Bowl where he had 78 receiving yards and a critical 13 yard punt return to help set up Washington’s final drive.

Nevada transfer Keleki Latu had his best season in the purple and gold last Fall. He had 40 catches with 371 receiving yards and a touchdown. At 6’-7” and 244 pounds, Latu possesses a large frame that could be an impact on Sundays.

Veteran Linebackers and Safeties

The Husky Defense finished second nationally in passing. Steve Belichick’s secondary allowed just 166.5 passing yards per game. Two safeties and two linebackers will participate in Pro Day from that group. Carson Bruener led the team in tackles and interceptions a year ago with 104 and three, respectively. His stats also included five pass breakups and a forced fumble. Bruener was the lone Husky invited to the NFL Combine at the end of February. Monday will be another opportunity for the Husky legacy to showcase in front of NFL Scouts.

Tuputala will participate on Monday as well. At linebacker, he and Bruener formed one of the few veteran position groups on the Washington roster last year. Tuputala finished second in tackles behind Bruener with 81 on the season. His 3.5 sacks were a team high, and he also tabbed four tackles for loss.

On the back end, Fabiculanan’s final season at Washington ended with a career high 55 tackles. As the leader of last year’s secondary, he was voted a team captain and played in all 13 games. Fabiculanan was a physical player and safety blanket for the secondary, getting his opportunity to showcase in front of scouts on Monday. He’ll be joined by Cameron Broussard at Pro Day in the secondary. After transferring from Sacramento State, he played in 12 of the 13 games last year. Broussard tallied 32 tackles and three pass breakups at safety.

Starting Defensive Linemen

Voi Tunuui, Sebastian Valdez, and Jacob Bandes will participate in Pro Day on Monday from the Husky defensive line. The three were the team’s everyday starters on the defensive line, each taking north of 450 snaps last season. Tunuufi was on the field the most up front, playing 616 snaps in 2024. He led all Washington defensive linemen with 25 quarterback pressures, and totaled 36 tackles on the season.

Valdez transferred from Montana State before the 2024 season. He entered as a much-needed addition to the interior defensive line and his production was immediate. Valdez finished second on the team with 4.5 tackles for loss, third in run stops with 29, and fourth in tackles with 48. The former FCS defensive linemen also notched two sacks. Bandes was one of the few sixth-year seniors on the 2024 roster and last season was his best. He notched 34 tackles and hauled in a one-handed, pinball interception at Indiana.

Transfer OL’s Showcase

Two Washington offensive linemen are slated to participate in Pro Day on Monday. D’Angalo Titialii started all 12 regular season games at center for the Huskies, getting 739 snaps. When you add in his four-year career at Portland State, Titialii accumulated over 2,800 snaps at both guard and center. Ohio State transfer Enokk Vimahi started nine games at guard for the Huskies last season. He played in all 13 games and his 674 snaps at Washington were the most in a single season in his career.

Ngata’s Opportunity

Backup running back Daniyel Ngata will showcase at Pro Day for Washington. The former Arizona State Sun Devil played five years of college football but only had 11 carries in two seasons as a Husky. Ngata’s main impact for Washington was in the kick return game, where he averaged 23 yards per kickoff return this season on 10 returns. Since 2022, Ngata notched 1,079 kick return yards on 45 return attempts, averaging 24 per touch.

Main Image: Steven Bisig-Imagn Images

NFL scouts, general managers, and coaches will be in the building on Monday for Washington’s Pro Day.
