Jackson, no relation of legendary two-sport superstar <strong>Bo Jackson<\/strong>, represents the 13th commitment for the Buckeyes&#8217; 2025 class. Ohio State still holds the second-best class according to <em>247Sports<\/em> with eight fewer commitments than Notre Dame. Jackson is a four-star recruit out of Cleveland, Ohio, and is considered the third-best running back recruit in the nation. In terms of Ohio recruits, Jackson is rated as the fifth-best.<\/p>\n<p>Jackson has natural athletic abilities, that much is evident. He can succeed in any rushing scheme with his college-ready six-foot, 205-pound frame. His junior season at Villa Angela-St. Joseph High School saw him rush for over 1,700 yards and score nearly 30 touchdowns.<\/p>\n<p>He&#8217;s a physical runner who can run defenders over as often as he can making them miss in space. He is quoted as being excited about the <strong>Chip Kelly<\/strong> offense and how he utilizes his running backs in both the running game as well as receivers.<\/p>\n<p>This marks the first commitment for new running backs coach, <strong>Carlos Locklyn<\/strong>. As of his commitment, Jackson is the only running back of the 2025 cycle headed to Ohio State. The Buckeyes have been linked to (and crystalballed) <a href=\"https:\/\/lastwordonsports.com\/collegefootball\/2024\/05\/06\/three-big-10-rivals-battling-for-a-top-2025-rb-recruit\/\" target=\"_self\">Jordan Davison<\/a> and<strong> Isaiah West<\/strong>.
