The puff pastry is a fun and easy to fill with tasty treats that you can\u00a0<\/span><span data-preserver-spaces=\"true\">customize anyway you want. You can make them sweet or savory. The possibilities are ENDLESS! Here a few I found that made my mouth water. Let me know if there is one I am missing and should try! Have a great weekend of football and tasty puffs.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<h2>Tasty Tailgate Treats Not Your Average Puff Pastry<\/h2>\n<h3 class=\"css-b1xorh e1tmud0h8\"><a href=\"https:\/\/www.countryliving.com\/food-drinks\/a24281158\/cajun-sausage-puffs-bourbon-mustard-recipe\/\" target=\"_blank\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Cajun Sausage Puffs With Bourbon Mustard<\/a><\/h3>\n<div class=\"css-1nrgze0 e7k5zd2\">\n<p class=\"css-iypz11 eno1xhi7\"><strong>Ingredients:<\/strong><\/p>\n<\/div>\n<div class=\"ingredients-body css-0 eno1xhi5\">\n<div class=\"css-1xs6tit eno1xhi4\">\n<ul>\n<li>All-purpose flour, for work surface<\/li>\n<li>1\/2\u00a0(17.2-ounce) package frozen all-butter puff pastry, thawed<\/li>\n<li>8\u00a0fully cooked andouille sausages<\/li>\n<li>1\/2 c.\u00a0whole-grain Dijon mustard<\/li>\n<li>2 tsp.\u00a0bourbon<\/li>\n<li>1 tbsp.\u00a0honey<\/li>\n<li>1\u00a0large egg, whisked<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Directions:\u00a0<\/strong><\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<ol class=\"css-19p7hma et3p2gv0\">\n<li>Lightly dust a work surface with flour.<\/li>\n<li>Unfold pastry onto floured surface; lightly flour top.<\/li>\n<li>Cut pastry crosswise into 16 (1\/2-inch-wide) strips with a large chef\u2019s knife or pizza wheel.<\/li>\n<li>Working one at a time, spiral strips around sausage (pushing the ends of a new strip to the old strip when you come to the end) until sausage is covered.<\/li>\n<li>Repeat with remaining strips and sausage.<\/li>\n<li>Chill 1 hour and up to 2 days.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<h3 id=\"article-heading_1-0\" class=\"comp type--lion article-heading mntl-text-block\"><a href=\"https:\/\/www.allrecipes.com\/recipe\/232968\/mushroom-bundles\/\" target=\"_blank\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Mushroom Bundles<\/a><\/h3>\n<p><strong>Ingredients:\u00a0<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><span data-ingredient-quantity=\"true\">1<\/span> <span data-ingredient-unit=\"true\">stick<\/span> <span data-ingredient-name=\"true\">unsalted butter<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span data-ingredient-quantity=\"true\">4<\/span> <span data-ingredient-unit=\"true\">cups<\/span> <span data-ingredient-name=\"true\">chopped mushrooms<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span data-ingredient-quantity=\"true\">4<\/span> <span data-ingredient-unit=\"true\">cloves<\/span> <span data-ingredient-name=\"true\">garlic, minced<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span data-ingredient-quantity=\"true\">\u00bd<\/span> <span data-ingredient-unit=\"true\">cup<\/span> <span data-ingredient-name=\"true\">dry white wine<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span data-ingredient-name=\"true\">salt to taste<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span data-ingredient-quantity=\"true\">1<\/span> <span data-ingredient-unit=\"true\">(17.5 ounce) package<\/span> <span data-ingredient-name=\"true\">frozen puff pastry, thawed<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span data-ingredient-quantity=\"true\">\u2153<\/span> <span data-ingredient-unit=\"true\">cup<\/span> <span data-ingredient-name=\"true\">grated Parmesan cheese<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Directions:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ol>\n<li id=\"mntl-sc-block_2-0-2\" class=\"comp mntl-sc-block mntl-sc-block-html\">Melt butter in a skillet over medium heat; cook and stir mushrooms and garlic in the melted butter for 1 minute. Pour in white wine; cook and stir mixture until all liquid has evaporated, about 5 minutes. Season with salt. Remove from heat.<\/li>\n<li id=\"mntl-sc-block_2-0-6\" class=\"comp mntl-sc-block mntl-sc-block-html\">Preheat oven to 375 degrees F (190 degrees C). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.<\/li>\n<li id=\"mntl-sc-block_2-0-10\" class=\"comp mntl-sc-block mntl-sc-block-html\">Cut each puff pastry sheet into 4 equal rectangles, creating 8 total. Spoon mushroom mixture into the center of each rectangle; sprinkle with Parmesan cheese. Gather all 4 corners of a rectangle together around the filling; pinch corners and edges of puff pastry together forming a seal. Repeat with remaining rectangles. Arrange bundles on the prepared baking sheet. Unroll puff pastry and roll out to a rectangle.<\/li>\n<li class=\"comp mntl-sc-block mntl-sc-block-html\">Spread with mustard and cover with Cheddar cheese slices, leaving a 1-inch border.<\/li>\n<li class=\"comp mntl-sc-block mntl-sc-block-html\">Add a layer of ham slices on top.<\/li>\n<li class=\"comp mntl-sc-block mntl-sc-block-html\">Roll puff pastry up tightly like a jelly roll.<\/li>\n<li id=\"mntl-sc-block_2-0-10\" class=\"comp mntl-sc-block mntl-sc-block-html\">Slice puff pastry roll in 1\/4-inch-thick slices and lay on the prepared baking sheet.<\/li>\n<li id=\"mntl-sc-block_2-0-14\" class=\"comp mntl-sc-block mntl-sc-block-html\">Bake in the preheated oven on the center rack until lightly browned and puffed up, 15 to 20 minutes.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<h3 class=\"text-capitalize\"><a href=\"https:\/\/www.justapinch.com\/recipes\/appetizer\/meat-appetizer\/sausage-cream-cheese-crescents.html\" target=\"_blank\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Sausage Cream Cheese Puffs<\/a><\/h3>\n<p><strong>Ingredients:\u00a0<\/strong><\/p>\n<div class=\"d-flex x-align-items-center x-align-content-between align-items-start mb-2\">\n<ul>\n<li>16 oz\u00a0bulk sausage, cooked and crumbled (any flavor)<\/li>\n<li>8 oz\u00a0cream cheese, softened<\/li>\n<li>2 can\u00a0refrigerated crescent rolls<\/li>\n<li>1 c\u00a0shredded sharp cheddar cheese (or any cheese)<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/div>\n<div class=\"d-flex x-align-items-center x-align-content-between align-items-start mb-2\">\n<div data-ingredient-name=\"\"><strong>Directions:\u00a0<\/strong><\/div>\n<\/div>\n<ol>\n<li>Mix cooked sausage, cream cheese, and shredded cheese together.<\/li>\n<li>Separate rolls into triangles.<\/li>\n<li>Cut eat triangle in half lengthwise.<\/li>\n<li>Scoop a heaping tablespoon onto each roll.<\/li>\n<li>Roll up.<\/li>\n<li>Bake at 375 for 15 minutes or until golden brown.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<h3 class=\"section-header__title\"><a href=\"https:\/\/caramelkitchen.com\/blogs\/recipes\/salted-caramel-pecan-puff-pastry-cinnamon-rolls\" target=\"_blank\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Salted Caramel Pecan Puff Pastry<\/a><\/h3>\n<p><strong>Ingredients:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul class=\"bard-text-block style-scope\">\n<li class=\"bard-text-block style-scope\">1 package puff pastry<\/li>\n<li class=\"bard-text-block style-scope\">1 Tbsp melted butter<\/li>\n<li class=\"bard-text-block style-scope\">1\/4 c brown sugar<\/li>\n<li class=\"bard-text-block style-scope\">2 Tbsp granulated sugar<\/li>\n<li class=\"bard-text-block style-scope\">2 tsp ground cinnamon<\/li>\n<li class=\"bard-text-block style-scope\">1 1\/2 c chopped pecans<\/li>\n<li class=\"bard-text-block style-scope\">3\/4 c Caramel Kitchen\u00a0salted caramel sauce<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Directions:\u00a0<\/strong><\/p>\n<ol class=\"bard-text-block style-scope\">\n<li>Preheat oven to 350 degrees<\/li>\n<li class=\"bard-text-block style-scope\">Open and unroll the package of puff pastry onto a baking sheet.\u00a0<span class=\"bard-text-block style-scope\">(Leave the included parchment paper in tact underneath the puff pastry if you don&#8217;t have a silicone mat to use).<\/span><\/li>\n<li class=\"bard-text-block style-scope\">Brush on the melted butter, covering the entire sheet.<\/li>\n<li class=\"bard-text-block style-scope\">In a small bowl, combine the sugars and cinnamon and stir to incorporate completely.<\/li>\n<li class=\"bard-text-block style-scope\">Leaving a one inch border, sprinkle and spread the sugar mixture on top of the puff pastry.<\/li>\n<li class=\"bard-text-block style-scope\">Beginning with the long end facing you, start to tightly roll the dough away from you.\u00a0<span class=\"bard-text-block style-scope\">(As you roll, some of the filling will spill out the sides and that is ok).<\/span><\/li>\n<li class=\"bard-text-block style-scope\">Taking a sharp knife, cut the ends off of each side and then continue to cut the remaining dough into 9 even rolls.<\/li>\n<li class=\"bard-text-block style-scope\">Place the rolls cut side up on your baking sheet, allowing enough room in between for them to spread.<\/li>\n<li class=\"bard-text-block style-scope\">Bake for 18-20 minutes or until the rolls are firm to the touch and lightly browned. While the rolls are baking, you can prepare the salted caramel pecan mixture.<\/li>\n<li class=\"bard-text-block style-scope\">Place your pecans in a small bowl. Gently warm up the salted caramel sauce and pour it over the top of the pecans. Stir until pecans are evenly coated.<\/li>\n<li class=\"bard-text-block style-scope\">Remove the cinnamon rolls from the oven and drop a generous spoonful of the caramel pecan mixture over the top of each roll.<\/li>\n<li class=\"bard-text-block style-scope\">Enjoy warm, or allow to cool to room temperature before eating.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<h3>On The Menu<\/h3>\n<p>Next Friday we will have another tantalizing tasty treat for you to wow your football friends and family with!
